Mosquito bites and low iron
Will find out today if my
iron
level any better but what I will say is the restless leg syndrome starting to ease so maybe it was lack of
iron
after all. I slept the whole day yesterday first sleep I've had in weeks so things slowly getting better.

Late as usual: Aberfforest -- the easy way to the other side
It looked directly over an
Iron
Age fort, Pen Dinas, which I used to walk to frequently when I was a student. It brought back pleasant memories.

I never saw these results and was not so informed back then yet seemed to always be told I was anaemic and given
iron
tablets but looking at these documents my TSH was an issue as far back as 2003 when it was 5.47 and at one point was 11.33 in 2009 and the lowest I could see in 2009 was 3.81.

Being gas-lit: NOT Hypothyroidism, it’s Silent Reflux says Consultant Thyroid/ENT – Advice requested.
I asked the GP if I could be tested for pernicious anaemia antibodies, and was blocked at every turn with the now mundane “your
iron
has been stable for years” and “you’ve not got hypothyroidism”.

Can Low Iron levels be caused by under medication for hypothyroidism
Knowing how little hypothyroidism is understood by GPs my question is could low
iron
levels be down to an under-medication.

Help with iron results - follow up from 3 arrows nutra
Hi everyone, I did an
iron
panel and I’m quite amazed with my ferritin level. I have been lax with my
iron
supps since going to T3 only and thought I would definitely have ranked my previously low results. To my disbelief, my ferritin is the highest I’ve ever seen it!

PV - Folic Acid and Vit D
I am finding it difficult to get my head around the whole folate/
iron
scenario. Think I need an idiots guide to simplify things. I did phone my Haem who said ok to take. But just wondered if this would have any bearing on HCT and HB. thanks

Update 7.7
To be expected with
iron
levels increasing. No rush, but time to consider either a phlebotomy or a Besremi dose increase. LFTs are just a bit high. AST = 48. ALT = 68. Not concerned with LFTs at this level. Lymph level low but stable = 0.66. Neut = 1.23.
