Getting there, but slowly
More blood tests back now but still don't have all the figures. Serum immunoglobulins all normal Coeliac screen - negative Ferritin 197 (range 13-150) Transferrin saturation 38% (15-45) He's not happy about this even though it's "normal" Homocysteine - normal IFA - still negative Gastric parietal antibodies

Over range T3 on combination T3/T4 medication
I posted several times last year about my 18 daughter who was very ill with chronic fatigue and severe bowel issues amongst other things. We discovered that her FT3 and FT4 were both very low and this was may have been the cause of many of her symptoms. In March last year her Medichecks tests came

What to expect from iron injections
I just started iron injections this week and will be having them once a week for six weeks. The nurse says the full effect of the iron takes place a month after the injections are finished. I was wondering when those of you who have received these injections got relief from RLS. I sure hope it doesn

Hi New to this forum and RLS. Insomnia is crippling me and affecting everything from weight gain to cognitive abilities. I am desperately seeking sleep. GP has prescribed Quinine but little affect. Also on iron tablets, B12, Vit D, Magnesium. Next stop Ropinole. I’m scared to take this as there appears

Conjecture
I use conjecture as part of my creative process. Thing is I do not pretend it is anything but conjecture. Using those who share their experience on this forum it seems to me that of the three forms readily commercially available Methylcobalamin has the most profound effect. As a person who is not

Private/NHS Haematologist Referral to Access NHS Iron Infusion
Hi Guys Background is that for B12 to work its magic there must be sufficient iron in the body - even being slightly low in iron circa 18% deficient for example, can apparently hinder the healing effects of B12. Now, needless to say that for most GPs this is complete rocket science and mind blowing

Hi, 28 years ago, i was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, following a very bad sore throat (I still remember the pain in my throat!). Benign nodules that have now disappeared. On Levothyroxine 75 since then. 2 weeks ago, I had a routine blood test showing that my TSH is 5.36 (normal range is 0.27 to 4.2

Time to come off Ropinerole 4 years after being on Pramepexole 7 years. What else can I try????
I've been on these and both caused augmentation and with both was increased to maximum dose yet still had restless legs causing sleepless nights, anxiety and depression. Before I went onto medication I found out I was severely anaemic, I don't know how it happened to me as I was previously fit and healthy

Latest Iron Panel Results - advice
Dear all, I’d be really grateful if anyone who knows about this could advise on my iron panel tests above? Good news is my ferritin has gone up from 65 through 85 to 105 and still taking it (not that it’s made any difference so far!). Thank you so much. X
