MDA5 positive
When I have read up on this antibody it has an association with
interstitial
lung
disease
(my husband has shortness of breath) and has a very poor prognosis especially in the first 6 months of diagnosis, however my husband is slowly improving after an extremely severe first flare up.

Early ILD
I have received a letter from my rheumatologist that he has reviewed all of the baseline diagnostic test for monitoring my Scleroderma and found out from the CT scan that I am showing early signs of ILD (
Interstitial
Lung
Disease
), I am on my mycophenolate and nifedipine for Raynaud's.

Sporadic air intake
Could this be related to my diagnosis of Lupus, Sjogren's, MCTD,
Interstitial
lung
disease
, or even Mobitz I or II?

GCA and Cough/Interstitial Lung Disease?
Could this be
interstitial
lung
disease
? My GP nor my rheumatologist have suggested this, but from my reading, it’s a possibility. I’m currently tapering prednisone for 40 mg.

Anyone been diagnosed with Interstitial Lung Disease
Today I received a CT report that says I may have
Interstitial
Lung
Disease
. I have been researching to see the connection between PMR and that disease. The prognosis is not favorable. Has anyone else been diagnosed with this disease? Thanks for any help.

Told I have COPD
Good Evening, I have asthma and
Interstitial
Lung
Disease
(ILD). I use inhalers to manage my asthma; and ambulatory oxygen for my ILD. I am under Papworth Hospital for my ILD. Twice in recent months, I have been called by my surgery to have a COPD review.

Has anyone been prescribed Mycophenolate for stiff and painful hands rather than for ILD?
Has anyone else been prescribed it for reasons other than

oxygen on flights
Hi I have
interstitial
lung
disease
and have some lung removed due to lung cancer. However I do not need oxygen or inhaler(lung stats of 52 pev) and am generally well. However my rheumatologist has suggested that the cabin pressure might cause me an issue when flying.

oxygen on flight advice sought
I have
interstitial
lung
disease
and had a small part of lung removed due to lung cancer. My lung stats are 52 pev. I would like to fly short haul later in the year. My rheumatologist has suggested I may struggle with cabin pressure.

Should I take algae-based calcium for osteopenia?
I need to know whether to continue taking algae-based calcium, with Vit. D and K for osteopenia. I was diagnosed a few years ago. I can't get much calcium from my diet because I can't stand milk or yogurt at all. I do eat a fairly healthy diet though still working on it. I do exercise but less than I

PATIENT EXPERIENCE OF NTRK FUSION POSITVE LUNG CANCER
We are looking for anyone who would be willing to share their experience of the NTRK fusion positive mutation (Neurotrophic tropomyosin receptor kinase ) who are living within the UK. As this is a rare mutation, where less than 1% have this; it is important to capture how this directly affects the person

Bronchiectasis
Hi I now have Bronchiectasis on the back of Pulmonary Fibrosis. Consequently I’ve had chest infections this winter which I haven’t really had before. I have a consultation coming up with my hospital consultant in a couple of weeks & knowing there are many on here with greater experience just wondering
