Anyone been diagnosed with Interstitial Lung Disease
Today I received a CT report that says I may have
Interstitial
Lung
Disease
. I have been researching to see the connection between PMR and that disease. The prognosis is not favorable. Has anyone else been diagnosed with this disease? Thanks for any help.

GCA and Cough/Interstitial Lung Disease?
Could this be
interstitial
lung
disease
? My GP nor my rheumatologist have suggested this, but from my reading, it’s a possibility. I’m currently tapering prednisone for 40 mg.

oxygen on flights
Hi I have
interstitial
lung
disease
and have some lung removed due to lung cancer. However I do not need oxygen or inhaler(lung stats of 52 pev) and am generally well. However my rheumatologist has suggested that the cabin pressure might cause me an issue when flying.

Has anyone been prescribed Mycophenolate for stiff and painful hands rather than for ILD?
Has anyone else been prescribed it for reasons other than
interstitial

Told I have COPD
Good Evening, I have asthma and
Interstitial
Lung
Disease
(ILD). I use inhalers to manage my asthma; and ambulatory oxygen for my ILD. I am under Papworth Hospital for my ILD. Twice in recent months, I have been called by my surgery to have a COPD review.

Hydroxycarbamide and lungs
I was surprised to read that this medicine can cause
interstitial
lung
disease
such as pulmonary fibrosis. I don’t remember it being mentioned on the forum. Of course some diseases with stop you from communicating freely. Any comments? Jumbo4

oxygen on flight advice sought
I have
interstitial
lung
disease
and had a small part of lung removed due to lung cancer. My lung stats are 52 pev. I would like to fly short haul later in the year. My rheumatologist has suggested I may struggle with cabin pressure.

Bands pulmonary fibrosis tomography
x-ray and linear opacities appeared, the diagnosis was
interstitial
lung
disease
, post-covid 19 sequelae, I was not given any treatment, now I started having breathing difficulties again, the pulse oximeter shows spo2 97-98%, it doesn't matter if I make an effort or sit, I have difficulties.

PMR and Parkinson's Disease
I used to also take 25mg Methotrexate weekly but this was stopped in 2022 when I was hospitalised with Methotrexate-induced
interstitial
lung
disease
(now resolved). Current situation: My GP suspects I now also have Parkinson’s Disease (PD). I saw the Neurologist on Friday.

Feel like giving up.
A shadow area was found on my
lung
with suspected
interstitial
lung
disease
( possibly RA related) , breathing tests and CT Scan ordered, which I had in January.

Methotrexate-induced lung disease
Towards the end of last year I was hospitalised for about a week with a dry cough/breathlessness that turned out to be Methotrexate-induced
Interstitial
Lung
Disease
(previous posts - cough cough cough). The MTX was stopped immediately but I was warned the damage may be permanent.

Surgery or not Surgery
I have stage 3 lung cancer, I have no symptoms and have no issues. I have 100% lung capacity. I have had 3 infusions of immunotherapy and chemotherapy. The tumour has shrunk 60/70% I have a choice. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy for 30 days. Removal of left lung. Both have risks.
