Who decides on high risk or not?
my haematology team this morning and they have advised me that it’s your local GP who puts together the list with NHSE and the haematology team don’t send out the letters I have been told my the team though that they class me as high risk and SHOULD be getting a letter due to having ET and being on

Diagnosis Update
I opted for Peg
interferon
Alfa and am coping really well on it. Platelets are now around the 290 mark from just under 1000! Only side effects so far are a little bit of irritation around the injection site and I’ve noticed recently my joints are often stiff and sore.

Nutraceuticals (NAC) have potential for boosting the type 1 interferon response to RNA viruses including influenza and coronavirus
In light of worldwide concern regarding the recent outbreak of a deadly novel strain of coronavirus in China, it is fortuitous that two recent discoveries point the way to effective nutraceutical measures for potentiating the type 1
interferon
response to RNA viruses.

I have Covid 19 - I’ m worried about taking my Peg medication.
I thought I’d been so careful, shielding, not allowing friends and family to visit. Have food delivery & detol spraying everything delivered. I had a few Amazon deliveries, again told the delivery man to leave parcels in the summer house & sprayed Detol on the contents, then washed my hands and threw
