I am 72 and suffer from ET

I took Hydroxycarbamide for six months, various problems plus hair loss.

( Hair loss normalised a few months after ceasing hydro.)

Now prescribed interferon alfa, still hair loss

if I was prescribed Anagnelide would it cause hair loss?

Are there other drugs for platelet reduction that do not cause hair loss

When I was on hydroxy I lost a little bit of hair, I'm on Anagrelide now and haven't lost anymore - yet!

I’m on both anagrelide and hydroxi. I hate the fact that I’ve lost so much hair. Be warned not many people can tolerate anagrelide. I can only tolerate 9 tablets aweek. 10 made me spaced out. So coming off hydroxi which I had hoped for in order to regain my hair wasn’t an option.
