In light of worldwide concern regarding the recent outbreak of a deadly novel strain of coronavirus in China, it is fortuitous that two recent discoveries point the way to effective nutraceutical measures for potentiating the type 1 interferon response to RNA viruses.

It is clear that certain nutraceuticals (NAC) have antiviral effects in both human and animal studies. Considering that there is no treatment for COVID-19 and treatments for influenza are limited, further studies to test these nutraceuticals as a strategy to help provide relief in those infected with encapsulated RNA viruses.

Great to hear about these discoveries and when available , they should have plenty of volunteers.

I heard the premier of china volunteered for a possible vaccine and had 4 doses without any bad reaction. Was this true or rumour.?

Yes, 6 months is quite a long time and benefits might not be immediately noticeable as they will probable creep on progressively. So I will have to keep written notes on distances achieved over that time.
