Fasting and Chemo
Just read this on one of my favorite websites - https://examine.com/ Study: Fasting for cancer Fasting — so hot right now. But slow your roll for just a second … fasting isn’t a panacea, no matter how appealing its simplicity seems. In the case of fasting for cancer, the evidence is promising, but

60 Yr Old Male - Thyroid and Hormonal Issues
Hope everyone is well here. I am a member of the board and you have helped me in the past, thank you and hugs! But today, I am writing on behalf of my dear brother-in-law Shawn. Shawn went to a more naturopathic doctor in Toronto, Canada because the family doctor is well, not to helpful. This doctor

Can Erleada/Apalutamide and Xtandi/Enzalutimide be used subsequently or is Xtandi ineffective after Erleada stops working?
If someone is castration sensitive and they start/use Erleada until it stops controlling the PSA, is Xtandi usually effective to use following the Erleada, or will Xtandi be ineffective because it works in the same manner as the Erleada? I understand that Erleada is for non-metastatic and Xtandi is

And the scan results are...
I'm having a great response to folfiri. The neuroendocrine tumors in my liver are smaller and fewer in number. Lungs are mostly clear now, with one new spot that neither me nor my oncologist are worried about unless it gets larger in my next scan. All my skeletal metastases are stable. Prostate

Struggling with Covid and asthma.
Update: 02/02/21 Hubby and I finally well enough to leave hospital to continue our recovery. It's going to be a long haul as we both have on going issues due to Covid. Thank you for the well wishes. Home at last after 10 days in hospital. Can't fault the care we received throughout. Update: 29/01/21

Insulin Question for Type 2 Diabetes
Has anyone tried the insulin powder? I saw an article on Twitter and Better India today, looks promising for Type 2.

Yes, dietary sugar can "feed" PC? (And heart disease!)

consumption of both fructose and sucrose [= glucose+fructose] sweetened beverages in moderate doses associated with stable caloric intake increases hepatic fatty-acid synthesis even in a basal state, whereas this effect is not observed after consumption of glucose.

Thank you. Diabetes because of lung meds.
Thank you all so much for the response you gave me. I did not known that you could get diabetes through certain meds in particular my lung meds. They told me whilst in critical care in 2019 they were treating me with insulin because of the meds they were treating me with during my stay at CC. 1 year
