Medications (different asthma
inhalers
, mucolythics, Omeprazole, antihistamines, Clarythromecin, Prednisolone) don't help (anymore). When I use the nasal spray Fluticasone from the ENT-doc, then my lungs seem to tighten up even more.

Is this asthma or something else? I'm new here
Hi everyone. I've had hayfever all my life but this year it's been completely out of control. I am getting asthma symptoms, feeling short of breath 24/7. I've had similar symptoms earlier years too but it's only ever felt this intense one particular summer years ago. It's affecting every area of my

Despite doing three long sessions of drainage for my Sarcoidosis, Lung Fibrosis and Brochiectasis, I still get tickling sensations in the left lung. This is affecting my sleep. It goes on and on. Grunting and clearing....grunting and clearing. I had a terrible night last night, hardly slept.

Finally seen the respiratory consultant!
Feeling a little overwhelmed as I’ve now got 3
inhalers
and a nasal spray, plus breathing exercises for chest clearance to do everyday, on top of all my other medications - it feels like a lot but it’ll be worth it if it helps me finally get this under control!

Do any of you suffer from muscle twitching / shakes
Hello, I've suffered from what I suspect is chronic bronchitis for about 9 years now. I first started showing symptoms when I was only 22, and now, at 31, things are getting considerably worse. I have to take regular medication, and use a device to help clear mucus off my chest. I first started noticing

I observe all the 'helps' and guidance from my Lung Specialist for brochiectasis, Lung Fibrosis & Sarcoidosis. He suggested two puffs of my Atrovent inhaler 15 minutes before my two postural lung drainage sessions. I find that the inhaler traps mucus whereas without the inhaler I get a lot out.

Consultant appointment - good outcome
Didn't change my
inhalers
said he would wait and see. I had wrote here to say I had a sore throat for weeks, well it seems the antibiotics eventually worked.

I have been taking seretide inhaler for sometime now and the hospital nurse changed it to Symbicort 2 puffs twice daily with the option to take extra doses . I don’t if it’s the new inhaler but my asthma is now getting worse and I am having lots of attacks and coughing up loads more . I rang the hospital

Reliever Inhalers?
I just recently got an official diagnosis of asthma, which was quite nice, because I now finally know what’s wrong with me! But now, I’m starting to have doubts again. I recently got prescribed a reliever inhaler, and I use it when I get nasty wheezing, and it hasn’t been helping much! It feels like

Hayfever Misery
Anti-histamines, eye drops, nasal spray and
inhalers
.... and I’m still suffering. So, I’m putting things on hold till I stop sniffing, sneezing and wheezing. Thankfully tree pollen is my trigger so it won’t be too long now.

Glaucoma and Asthma
Are there many members with glaucoma that also have asthma and take steroid
inhalers
(preventatives). I am scared that these
inhalers
are worsening my glaucoma. I have reduced them from 2 puffs twice a day to 1 puff twice a day but nobody seems to know if these
inhalers
caused my glaucoma.

Hi. I started fostair 200/6 about 6 weeks ago after becoming unsettled on fostair 100/6. I had no problems with 100/6-no side effects and found it settled my asthma quite well for a while. Even though I do over 2 hours lung drainage every day (1 hour morning , 15 mins afternoon, then another hour evening) I still get a tickling sensation and mucus left in the lungs - particularly the left lung which is the worst one. It means I am grunting for much of the day. Annoying for me and my
