using Symbicort inhaler
Im only asking because previous
inhalers
had the click on the second twist which seemed to be more psychologically reassuring whereas this one the click comes first and then I twist the second time to no sound :)

My Asthma
I have had my
inhalers
changed to Spiriva once a day and my seretide disk inhaler changed to puffer inhaler so I can use my spacer. I have now been seen at the hospital and they have recommended I see the physio and try some breathing exercises They are thinking it may be pollen related .

International study suggests alternative treatment for mild asthma
“Short-acting beta-agonists, also known as rescue
inhalers
, work quickly but they do not treat the underlying problem of inflammation,” said O’Byrne of the first study.

First time pregnancy, been sick everyday+ asthmatic
It's my first pregnancy and about 8weeks now. I'm really worried because i have lost my strength since week 4. Couldn't resume new job because i can't tolerate few minutes walk to the train station anymore. Although I'm asthmatic, I have had an attack almost twice a week. Now, I'm mostly in bed, trying

Yet another Actavis / Accord question
Hi Community, apologies if this has already been covered, but I'm getting slightly desperate. I have been on Actavis 75mcg for several years with no noticeable issues. The last time the brand was changed I had really bad chest pains and breathing issues that was simply dismissed as asthma and I was

Long-term asthma recovery queries
Hi all, I suppose this is a general question about long-term asthma recovery, as this is uncharted territory for me. Or if it's even asthma-related. In May 2020, I had several asthma attacks, which heavily restricted my mobility for the remainder of the year. I used to go to the gym twice a week, play

18 month old with an asthma cough
My child is 18 months and has already been diagnosed with asthma. His cough has started again and is worse at night. We are giving him his inhaler every 2-3 hours and also his brown one too. Does anyone have any tips on asthma coughs?

Prednisone
I bought a very good book at a thrift shop for $5. I’ve learned so much. Did you know that one 5 mg prednisone pill delivers 5000 micrograms to the body while one puff of a common inhaler only delivers 87 micrograms to the body regarding steroid. Wow! Such a tiny pill…

Upper abdominal pain upon waking every single morning.
I’m on omeprazole, pregabylin, amitrypyline and recently steroid
inhalers
and mometasone for new congestion/lung issues which could be connected - who knows!

Lung vibration laying down 😭
Says I should Persist with the
inhalers
. Pulmonary fibrosis is my main concern but maybe I just have an overactive imagination and am letting my imagination get the better of me? I have had a clear HRCT scan, can I take reassurance in this?

Prednisolone withdrawal symptoms
Has anyone experienced prednisolone withdrawal symptoms? I had a chronic chest infection and was given 5 day course of 40mg once a day then as it didn’t clear up and got worse was given another 5 day course of 40mg once a day along with course of antibiotics. I saw my GP and explained I was getting better

Seretide to Fostair?
Her suggestion was either Montelukast or changing
inhalers
. I really didn't get on with Montelukast before, so I opted for the inhaler switch. I switched from Seretide 250 (1 puff twice a day) to Fostair 100/6 (2 puffs twice a day).

Itchy Lungs Solutions?
Even after I've taken
inhalers
/pred etc, which helps with the tightness/cough/wheezing, the itchiness is still there. It drives me mad and I often wish I could put something into my lungs just to scratch the itch! Does anyone else experience this and what helps with it?
