Late asthma diagnosis + regular low peak flow
He has prescribed montelukast which I'm reluctant to take as hate taking meds and now already on 2
inhalers
😬 the other thing is my peak flow is low for my profile (female, 5ft 9) it's only ever been about 350 even before asthma diagnosis.

HELP- medication storing
My question is how do I store my
inhalers
? I have 7 fostair
inhalers
and 2 ventolin. Is it okay to store them in fridge (on the box it says that I shouldnt use inhaler after it passed 3 months from getting it from pharmacy) but I dont see a problem if they are stored in fridge?

Constant throat clearing issues
. :- Can steroid
inhalers
cause throat problems? It has long been known that one of the most common adverse effects of inhaled steroid therapy is irritation of the upper aerodigestive tract. Common symptoms include pharyngitis, hoarseness, throat clearing, and cough.

He’s on his

GP thinks I am nuts....crackling lungs
Numerous antibiotics/steroids/
inhalers
/ chest x-rays (which were all clear) and a 9 week cough and here I am . Cough is productive with white phlegm and maybe finally easing slightly. I say that very cautiously! Still a bit breathless.

Asthma inhalers dosage.
Hello , has anyone else found that the
inhalers
do not really have the amount of puffs claimed on the actual inhaler ? I have never got 100 puffs out of my inhaler therefore being left without usage because the GP will not repeat my subscription until a set date . Thanks , keep safe all.

Dry mouth and post-inhalation mouth rinse
Hello - advice please. I use Fostair with an inhaler and always rinse then gargle, but with water only. My mouth is always dry particularly at night. Is there a mild mouth rinse that might be better than water, and could it help with the dry mouth?

Fostair and tremors
I found that when I went back to my previous treatment of Serevent and Qvar the tremors went away, but I am told there are no combination
inhalers
that have a different long acting beta agonist, is this true?

Anybody suffers from seasonal asthma and use inhaler on demand?
I suffer from seasonal winter asthma. Currently on mart regimen fostair nexthaler 100/6 twice a day. Previously was on becotide twice a day and ventolin as required. I usually stopped taking them before summer and start again beginning of autumn. My mum told me this combi should be taken all year round

Another attack
Montelukast and three
inhalers
prescribed by consultant. Cold weather not helping. So spending a lot of time watching tv. No energy for anything else. Not so much a moan but sometimes there’s just the need to tell someone. Thanks for listening. Apologies for the long ramble.

Too nervous to exercise
I have copd during the first lockdown I took the government advice and shielded. I returned to work once we were allowed out again and never shielded again for my mental health. Since coming out of the first lockdown I haven't exercised at all. Before lockdown I was doing my 10,000 + steps a day but

Have run out of fostair nexthaler 100/6
I thought I had a spare canister but just found out I have run out. Since it is Easter bank holiday I am hoping I will be able to manage until I get a prescription on Monday. Previously when I was on becotide I usually stopped taking it about this time but due to covid I have been taking it regularly

Asthma??
Hi All Not sure if this is asthma or not? Coughing, starts as a tickle then I get mucus, sometimes cough up frothy spit I'm coughing that much I'm nearly sick, it gets worse at night, I'm on steroid inhaler twice a day but it doesn't seem to be working as I'm still using the blue one too much, 8 puffs

Husband's COPD getting much worse - needs help
I apologise in advance for the length of this post but I am desperate and lost. Any advice is welcome. My husband has severe COPD and I am really concerned about him. He is 52 and was diagnosed several years ago. He still smokes around one cigarette’s worth of tobacco a day but is increasingly struggling
