Newly diagnosed with asthma - need help!
I have been suffering with breathing difficulties for 2 years, following a severe chest infection. My breathing never got back to normal. I've tried to get help from the GP several times, but was told for the first year that 'it takes time to recover from chest infections' and in the second year that

Chest infection with orange phlem?
Hi, bit of a long post. I rang my asthma team on 17th December as I was coughing up thick green, temp, coughing etc. Had infections consistently for about 3 years now, definitely know what they feel like. They said see my gp because they cant see me, and even delayed all my appointments for the year.

Confused
Hi, Could someone explain the purpose of
inhalers
? I have COPD and am constantly breathless whether I use an inhaler or not. I have tried so many different ones and have not noticed any difference in my breathing with any of them.

Portable spacer?
Hi, I’ve just been recently diagnosed with asthma that can be slightly severe esp during this weather, so it requires carrying my
inhalers
and spacer with me at all times. However, my job keeps me on my feet and away from my office, I cannot bring anything big in my pocket either.

Going back to work as a teacher. ..advice appreciated!
Hi everyone. I'm wondering if anyone has feedback about risks of going back to work with the spread of omicron. I am a teacher (grade 4/5) in Canada. Omicron is spreading in our province as everywhere else. I have 26 students in a room with little ventilation. They all wear masks, but when they have

Sugar, Fatty Foods, Bad Carbohydrates and Asthma...
Like many people I eat too much, too quickly and eat too much sugary junk. I certainly noticed a link between using my inhaler more after a food binge, especially with bad carbohydrates. Thankfully I'm at the stage in life where I'm starting to take control and be responsible for my health. (it's never

COPD foreseeable review
Could anyone kindly help please with drafting a list of things to ask them and consider in accordance of moderate COPD in 2017(two
inhalers
only) then conditions worsen down to rescue pack and 2
inhalers
plus mobility issues on top of that? Look forward to hear all recommendations for my list.

Peak flow after blue inhaler
I stopped taking the
inhalers
after about a month because I didn't feel any improvement. I've had an ongoing health issue which was diagnosed around the same time; one of the symptoms of which is shortness-of-breath. I was also deficient in ferritin, which causes SOB.

Feel like I cant breath in enough air?
Hello all, 2 years ago I started to feel everyday chest tightness and feeling like my chest cant breath in enough air (after this symptoms start I start to feel like I was going to pass out any second)... At first I thought it was asthma coming back since I had big problems with it when I was a child

Do I have un-treated asthma?
I've sporadically had blue and brown
inhalers
but never felt they did much good. I've never really believed the asthma diagnosis because I don't have the classic symptoms such as wheezing or asthma attacks.

Spiriva Respimat
I have been taking Spiriva Respimat powder inhaler for some months now. The problem I have is it makes me cough every time I inhale. If anyone else has had this problem and was able to overcome it I’d really appreciate your response & feedback. Cheers.
