Chronic allergic asthma restricting breathing at all times.
Neither blue nor brown
inhalers
have any effect. Lung x-ray normal, heart valves show slight leakiness. GP puts it down to allergy but doesn’t suggest any treatment. Peak flow below 40. I am allergic to all environmental allergens especially gas, diesel, petrol, smoke and pollen.

Tapering off inhaled steroids due to steroid induced adrenal insufficiency
Tapering off inhaled steroids Seretide has completely suppressed my adrenals. I mean completely. It's been going on for years, but doctors don't 'see' it. An endo saw my low cortisol years ago but didn't act. Now it's gone... ccan my adrenals ever come back? Hospital can't predict. Hospital want me

Late onset asthma confusion
I am aged 50, I’ve never had any problems with my chest before. I had a chest infection in December. I was given antibiotics, steroids and salbutamol inhaler and told that there was a possibility I might have asthma. My symptoms improved with the treatment. But the tight chest and sporadic cough have

Cause of transient global amnesia?
I was recently diagnosed with an episode of TGA. As I couldn’t really identify with any of the usual causes, I looked at drugs that might play a part. Top of the list were anticholenergic drugs such as Spiriva, which I take as a powder from an inhaler. My doctor assured me that it is only the tablets

Testing positive for covid
It was going to happen I have tested positive for covid. I have to say the response from NHS and government is confusing. After reporting my lateral flow test the NHS told me to isolate but the government guidelines say it’s not a legal requirement and my employer is following the government advice.

Persistent and worsening problems led to steroid
inhalers
of increasing strength and then finally a lung function test in October, which confirmed continued inflammation and some air trapping. Now on fostair for the past 6 months. Peak flow improved immediately by about 100 ml to a resting 700.

Anoro Ellipta - have you had side effects
Hello everyone, I’m a newbie to posting on here but I have followed some of the chats and everyone seems so friendly and knowledgeable, I wondered if I could pick your brains. I had mild Covid in April 2020 and it left me with long covid, the worst effects of which for me are fatigue and shortness

Flovent
I am sick with wheezing and coughing now and my doctor prescribed an inhaler called Flovent that CVS says will cost $266!! Can anyone suggest another drug for inflammation in the lungs that's not outrageously expensive? I was on Azythromycin for 6 days and it didn't do anything.

Losing my confidence in treatment.
I am losing my confidence in treatment. When my asthma got really bad and I forced the doctor to refer me to the hospital I had a good consultant but she has left. I had a C02 measure and it was 65 and she said that was bad and my lungs were very inflamed so changed my inhaler, when I went back later

Thinning skin and purpura from inhaled steroids
Hi all. I have been taking a low dose inhaler ( fostair 100/6 for the last 3 years and already have issues with crepe paper skin, which cuts easily. Also if a bang my arm or even give it a scratch I get blood under the surface ( think that’s what is called purpura) I’m only 58 and always have kept fit

Spireva
I used to be on Spireva and Fostair but after a spell in hospital I was put on Trelogy. I have severe emphysema and this new triple medication inhaler has worked wonders! I don't get out of breath going upstairs anymore, whereas before I used to dread going up the stairs because I would be so breathless

Post covid wheezing
Hi all. I got covid 28th Feb and was laid low for just over a week, not with a new cough etc specifically, just other symptoms. However 10 days post testing positive, I’ve had bouts of wheezing and tightness (more than ever before) and I’m using my rescue inhaler lots more. I need to see my asthma

Lung Sensation Question (General)
