Advice please on possible constipation.
I was told by my GP that I was constipated because I had taken
Imodium
for too long.Apologies for being so graphic but I don't know how else to tell you my symptoms. My symptom was not having a normal bowel movement, just passing wind with a small amount of faeces. She gave me Movicol-half and I took it

Kindly Sponsored by Imodium - Week 9 Run 1
We could both do without popping
Imodium
first thing... After 30 minutes of grumbling (my stomach) I set off, having decided that today I would walk all the way down the slope of hope as that probably gives me the extra distance to do the 30 minutes, without messing up my rhythm.

Imodium and Buscopan.
I am taking
Imodium
at the moment to try to stop the diarrhoea. It gives me a lot of trapped wind. It's not causing me any pain but when the pressure builds up,I pass the wind with some diarrhoea. This starts the anxiety again. If I took Buscopan,Would this allow the wind to pass with much less force?

Please help w-Feedback on Lab Results
Hello Everyone! I was diagnosed with Grave's Disease at least 15 years ago, had radioactive iodine treatment 2x in order to make my Thyroid underactive. I was told this was done because an underactive thyroid is easier to treat. I've been taking Levothyroxine all these years usually around 125 mcg.

Hi. I am new to this site. I am not at all sure what to expect. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclyonic Epilepsy at 14. When I was 25 I was prescribed Sodium Valporate (EPILIM) and I am 100% sure these are what has caused all my illnesses. I am now 52 and have been suffering with many ailments for

New CKD Stage 3 - opinions please
So glad, but overwhelmed w/so much info, to find this site. Just diagnosed w/Stage 3 CKD & sounds like many like me: Scared. I'm an active 69 yr old, 80% vegetarian, normal weight w/none of the typical symptoms for CKD, can only figure it's reflux & past pain medications or my love for sugar (not diabetic

DISCOMFORT
I have had IBS for a number of years now and take
Imodium
to control the urgency. I often have problems in the morning especially trying to get out of the house. I go often and feel that my bowels have to be empty before leaving.

Don't give up!
I would like to add even before my operation whenever I visited the GP they never gave me any medication apart from
Imodium
, peppermint capsules or Buscapon. I was noticing blood in my stools but they told me it was just a part of IBS.

I'm very grateful for this site and the experiences you all share, as it helps me make sense of what my mum is going through. Mum is currently on Avastin and has had 7 cycles. Her chemo has finished and she's on this for maintenance as there was some residual disease. This week she was behaving strangely

IBS sufferer - I'm new here
I take
imodium
to try and stop it along with buscopan to try and stop the cramps. But sometimes I have to take so much
imodium
because it doesn't work for long. It stops it for maybe a day or two but then it all comes backs and I have to take more.
