Hi Huzaif,
My uric acid also went up after my transplant in 08. I started on a specific medication, uloric to lower it and was also placed on sodium bicarbonate. My last lab results have been showing a decrease in uric acid, therefore, my doc has decreased both meds. You might ask about a specific medication to lower it for you. Hope this helps.
