Tried every drug named here.
Hi everyone. There is not a drug on a post here that I have not tried. I even forgot some of them since I have been a long time sufferer of rls. The only thing that has worked for me is that I have given up bottled water. It is loaded with sodium. I am also extremely careful with snacks that have “flavor

Recently Diagnosed with stage 3b CKD
Hello, I thought that I would share my story in the hope that it might help others that are going through the same thing. I was diagnosed with stage 3 about three months ago or so. I must admit that at first I really didn't grasp the whole concept of having kidney disease and I was a little confused

Chronic Diarrhea, potential IBS?? Advice please as doctors aren’t helping!
They advised I shouldn’t take
Imodium
(day six without and struggling), I’ve tried Colpermin
IBS
relief
and don’t feel they’re doing much. The doctor didn’t say much else to be honest, didn’t even hint at what they thought it could be.. so I’m not feeling confident in them right now.

Normal TSH result. Where to go from here?
Been suffering with extreme tiredness and fatigue of late, along with various other hypothyroidism symptoms. Got bloods done at GP, only thyroid testing was TSH, and results were normal. But I still feel awful. Where do I go from here? Is it worth getting other thyroid tests when my TSH isn't even slightly

Another FUS news. Now from Isreal . Looks like it's replacing DBS
The firm obtained US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for its technology in 2016, based on a clinical study of 76 patients, which demonstrated that the treatment is effective and safe. A three-year follow-up of the same group of patients showed that tremor reduction was sustained over a period

Avoiding Cramps
Morning all, I completed the Rome marathon on Sunday, which happened to be my fifth marathon. As I had been suffering from a cold, I had no expectations, just the intention to finish it. I decided to start at 5.50/km, and try to maintain it for as long as possible, and every 45 minutes I took a gel with

Is it OK to Splurge Twice Per Month?
Hi, everyone. My wife (Stage 2 CKD) and I (Stage 3 CKD) have started eating vegetarian and are doing a lot of vegan as well; we are also really watching our sodium intake. We have cut out any and all meats. We have cut out dairy most of the time. We are doing pretty well, but crave a real cheeseburger

In January I posted my one functioning kidney numbers - gfr down to 38, create up to 1.86. They were the worst ever in my 57 years. Doctors order a new blood test.
Hi all does any one have any I’d. The doctor order a full blood work up. Due to a lot of problems. They cut my medication in January from 175 to 150 and now down to 125 at the end of March. There trying to raise my T3 from 0.1 last blood test was in March before cut down to 125. Was T3 still at 0.1 but

Are Imodium Instants better than loperamide?
I usually buy unbranded loperamide for diarrhoea but have noticed several people mentioning Imodium Instants. Looking at the packet, they don`t seem to be much different from Loperamide and are a lot more expensive. I wondered if really do work faster or is it just a marketing ploy?

I have followed this community for a long time but rarely post. However, I am hoping someone can help me. I was diagnosed 17 years ago and had DBS on my left side to control my tremor in my right arm/hand in 2010. I am scheduled for DBS on June 3rd to make my symptoms on the left side behave. The swelling
