Aged 49, newly diagnosed, - An Update
Was it the single Zoladex implant I had in May 2016, that had stopped my mets getting worse, or was it the cryo-
immunotherapy
? Did I get a partial response? Did I get any sort of change in me that might give me a long-term benefit - who knows.

Cancer History
My doctor keeps saying things get worse on
immunotherapy
before they get better. After 8 rounds of Opdivo, the CT scan says the lesion on the spleen is bigger, and the nodule is bigger. I'm pretty upset at my doctor and she has a breakdown.

Apparently he can't do
immunotherapy
because a major side effect is inflammation. Since my dad is taking steroids for inflammation due to his radiation, he can't start the
immunotherapy
. My dad's steroids go until mid April.

Hayfever is coming
However, I've heard that you can get
immunotherapy
treatment for Hayfever. Is this possible through the NHS in severe cases? Any response is appreciated. Calvin

Second opinion recommendations please
My own oncologist has suggested weekly Taxol as the next option, but I see some of you are on trials, plus I would be v interested in
immunotherapy
trials or options if there were any in the UK.

A parp inhibitor/chemo trial or an
immunotherapy
trial. I took part in a parp/placebo trial over two years just after my first line chemo finished so they will have to get my details from drug company first to see what I was on - as if it was the parp I won't meet the criteria.

DIFFICULT NEWS
My onc. wants me to do an
immunotherapy
trial that isolates a mutated gene and then treats it. I will get caelyx as well. No guarantees they can isolate a mutated gene. My onc. thinks this is the best way to go right now.

Need a little boost
I have never had radiation, I have failed
immunotherapy
(scans showed progression while on it) I am back on chemo, lost my hair, no appetite and zero energy. I have a ton of anxiety and that's another question, how is everyone dealing with anxiety?
