NICE approves venetoclax (VENCLYXTO) with rituximab for previously treated chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) patients
For patients seeking a treatment free period, retreatment with a chemo-
immunotherapy
is the only option, which is often unsuitable. Today’s decision by NICE is a significant change in CLL treatment and how it may be managed into the future.

Considering the shave
Been reading about
immunotherapy
, and the chance of side effects (mainly vitiligo) so I don't think I'll take that option.

Provenge - is it worth it?
"Immunotherapies have so far been disappointing for PC, except for Provenge. But some are doubtful that even Provenge really has a benefit." Quoted from Tall_Allen. Second time I've seen Tall_Allen question Provenge. Already told I had Provenge in my future when Xtandi fails. 8 cycles Taxotere, 15 months

Immunotherapy drug that worked for me
Whatever the reasons...I’m here and I’m cancer free and
immunotherapy
drugs are changing the cancer game. I hope anyone and everyone who is able to get this infusion treatment has the same wonderful results that I did.

Another surprising visit
I had a prescription of Echinacea to boost my immunity and bronchovaxom I get every year which is
immunotherapy
for respiratory problems. And another appointment for Dec 14th in case I don’t overcome it by myself. I am so looking forward to go to see the LAM specialist on Nov 7th.

What is accepted as "proven" scientific fact in medicine today has often been proven to be wrong tomorrow. –

25 Somatic Gene Mutations!
The doctor will be taking my dad's case report to an upcoming Genomic/
Immunotherapy
conference at CITY OF HOPE for further advice from other colleagues. ***Anyone else tested positive for somatic gene mutations? If so, has
Immunotherapy
been suggested? Thank you, Linda

Have started
immunotherapy
as cancer is not curable but treatment will hopefully give more time. The amount of emotions racing through your mind are hard to cope with at times, I must admit.

Stage 4 update
Since he's NED (no evidence of disease) the doctor has recommended BRAF & MECK inhibitors to start and save the better tolerated
immunotherapy
drugs for later.

Treatment decision
My oncologist has given me the option to wait and watch or to do a year of
immunotherapy
-nivolumab. Any other young moms that have faced this decision? I have a husband and a one year old.

Pet scan results.
My doctor thinks the
immunotherapy
trial (and a lot of praying) is what caused my incurable cancer to have disappeared. I hadn’t had a clear scan in the almost 4 years since diagnosis. Even in September my tumor showed some progression but apparently that’s how these
immunotherapy
infusions work.

Pathos Report from Transurethral Urinary Bladder Tumor Resection
Treatment from here is
immunotherapy
whereby the BCG bacteria is infused into the bladder, and this will trigger a boost in the bladder’s white blood cells, which will go after the bacillus, but also any cancer cells.
