SLIT immunotherapy for allergies
I have booked a private consultant and the treatment for it is
immunotherapy
which costs thousands. After doing lots of research I have found that you can buy it yourself online for hayfever, dustmites, mold etc.

After the second opinion, it was made apparent, (or how I perceived it) that
immunotherapy
is where we need to be since he never “failed” on it. How is everyone else?? Xoxo

Resistance to therapy
I have been driving myself bonkers looking up the resistance people with melanoma build up that ends up ultimately ending their journey with either an
immunotherapy
or targeted therapy because of certain proteins. Has anyone done any research on this too? If so, I’d love to hear any findings.

Furthermore, research suggests there may be synergy between radiation and targeted therapy or
immunotherapy
, although it is not yet clear how best to combine these treatments for MBMs. Peace, Missy

Still more bumps in the road
My oncologist is hoping the
immunotherapy
will sort out the mets in the brain preventing the need for radiotherapy but it will still be there as an option if needed. I'm on Pembrolizumab by the way.

Cancerland - my journey so far
From then I continued having pembrolizumab every 3 weeks until January 2019 when the 2 years allowed on
immunotherapy
was up. Initially there was some reduction in the tumour size and from then on my tumours remained stable. Fortunately the only side effect was fatigue.

Acute adrenal crisis - looks like?
However in November he starts a course of
immunotherapy
(for another condition) which makes him very vulnerable to sickness. And I am concerned that I don’t know what to look out for with AAC.
