Ringing in ear
My husband has been on
Imbruvica
for about 4 months and now has ringing in the ears. Is this normal side effect?

New drug soon...Acalabrutinic (Calquence) will have less side effects than Imbruvica.
I have been on
Imbruvica
for 3 years. My flow cytometry reports are down to #1.But i do have mild side effects (respiratory). Dr. J C Byrd has helped to develop 2ND generation BTK inhibitor - Calquence which will be available this year. Let us all hope for newer drugs - they have saved my life !!

Imbruvica and Heart Issues
I have been taking
Imbruvica
for five months and my blood counts, while not good, have remained staple. I had Afib prior to starting
Imbruvica
but it has worsen over the last month, causing 4 shocks from my Defibrillator/Pacemaker in a two week period.

My new CLL Treatment
My oncologist is recommending a drip of Rituxan and Bendamustine for my CLL treatment to replace
Imbruvica
since I had heart issues with this drug. Is anyone else getting this treatment? If so, any serious side effects?

My husband has been on

for 29 days and had appointment with Oncologist today. His WBC has gone from 28,000 to 90,000 today. His Oncologist was not too concerned about the rapid increase in WBC. He said it was not uncommon to have a rapid rise when starting

Heartburn
Nearing two years on
Imbruvica
( no real problems) but recently I've been experiencing an almost heartburn like pain with my first bite of almost anything. It goes away after a minute or two. Makes no difference if it's a spicy food or bland. Big bit or small.

Ceflex and Imbruvica
Hi all, Has anybody taken an antibiotic while on
Imbruvica
? I’ve been on
imbruvica
for 10 days, and so far I’m doing fine, but a a small growth (like a pimple) has gotten infected. Nurse prescribed ceflex (antibiotic). A bit worried about taking both meds. Thank you.

CAR T-Cell Developments in Lymphoma Dr. Ian Flinn Highlights
. - One last publication to think about is the data we've seen involving Waldenström macroglobulinemia where rituximab was compared with the combination of ibrutinib (
Imbruvica
) and rituximab.

Feeling Good
Was put on
Imbruvica
11 days ago. Have had no side effects besides very positive results with lymph nodes reducing in size. I am 69 white male who continues to play golf and enjoys a glass of wine. Is it possible to think that in time I would be able to stop taking

Is Imbruvica good or bad for you?
I went to several dermatologists who couldn't pinpoint anything until lately, the last diagnosis was it MAY be due to the
imbruvica
Reading more about this, I also found info that
imbruvica
can cause 2ndary cancers.

NEVER GIVE UP!
My oncologist started me on
IMBRUVICA
(3 capsules, 140mg each) in March 2017. The only “side effect” was bone pain in the beginning. Dr. H assured me that it was temporary & was in fact a good thing, an indication that the medication was working.

CLL Lyrica cramps
I am on
Imbruvica
for CLL, plus Lyrica for pain. The
Imbruvica
has been brilliant. The downsides from Lyrica seem to have been weight gain (10kg in 12 months), and leg cramps all night.
