Anybody used the Yorkshire Fertility clinic?
We're going to have
ICSI
and was wondering if anyone had used the same clinic and had any feedback/tips/advice please?

Follow up after 3rd failed cycle
Just had our follow up apt after another failed
icsi
cycle. I’m not sure how to feel after it though. It turns out that egg quality was very good (just not many of them this time).

OH nearly 6 months smoke free 😁
Our next appointment is end of July where (fingers crossed) we get our referral for a NHS funded
ICSI
cycle. Hubby will be 6 months smoke free by then 🤗. I'm feeling so much stronger and positive having followed lots of your journeys on here. It's been a huge help 😘

They did IVF instead of
ICSI
. The lab people have tried to fob me off but have agreed to investigate and call me tomorrow. I’ve already emailed my consultant who has confirmed that they should have done
ICSI
. Has this happened to any one else? What happened?

Decision time: #2 with my eggs
It feels like we have been thrown a lifeline with a 2nd go on the NHS and it feels right to try again with my eggs with
ICSI
. Our nurses appointment to kick start the next IVF cycle is 30th of July so a little while away yet.

Experiences of intralipid infusions as part of IVF
We’re just starting (hopefully lucky) round 3 of
ICSI
and this time i’m having Intralipid infusions after some recent tests showed I have auto-immune markers & high levels of some natural killer cells.

What to tell work?
We are eagerly awaiting the moment when we reach the top of that waiting list so we can try our first shot at IUI (we have agreed two IUI cycles and then we will go to IVF/
ICSI
. My question today is what do I say to my boss.

Feel completely deflated before even starting
Had our first appointment 2 months ago and have another appointment next week where we will talk about dates to start - we will be having
ICSI
. I feel completely deflated and we have not even started. 4 close friends have been through this, none of which were successful after a number of tries.

Update on IVF & ICSI mix up
Indeed, an error has been made &
ICSI
should have been done on Monday and not IVF. I will write a letter and provide the necessary evidence. Will let you know the outcome once I know but I will be pushing for a 2nd cycle on the NHS. The egg and sperm were ‘fabulous’ according to my consultant.

ICSI fertilisation failure
I received devastating news this morning that the egg didn't fertilise in the
ICSI
process. The clinic wasn't sure why, and I've read online that it's really rare for eggs not to fertilise in the
ICSI
process. Has this ever happened to anyone and what were your next steps? I'm 36 and have low AMH.

Hi guys - am new here - my IVF journey so far...
Just finished our first fresh
icsi
cycle which ended with a bfn. I was so stressed throughout the whole cycle and totally underestimated how hard it was going to be both physically and mentally! Some days I couldn't even walk properly due to the progesterone injections!!

Update - well wishes - 30 weeks pregnant and waters broke
I was lucky enough to get pregnant on my second round of
icsi
. I had to pinch myself as I still don’t believe it’s real. Only after my 20 week scan did I start to settle down . At 30 weeks pregnant ( two weeks ago) my waters suddenly broke in the middle of the night .

Long protocol or short protocol IVF? Please help!
We have to have
ICSI
due to hubbys low count but I've been told I can choose either long or short protocol. Long might give us more eggs but I'm at risk of OHSS. Short is less risk of OHSS but probably fewer eggs so might have to go through it more times?

PGD genetic testing
Hi ladies, me & OH had our first consultation today @ our chosen NHS IVF clinic, the appointment was for PGD screening as I have the BRCH2 Breast cancer gene Has anyone else had
ICSI
/IVF via PGD screening? Wondering what kind of ratio of positive gene eggs & negative gene eggs?

The dreaded 2ww...any success stories?
I had 14 follicles, with 12 eggs. 8 we’re fertilised by
ICSI
as 5 progressed over night. However only 1 made it to the end and we had none to freeze so just the 1 blastocyst put back. Already that makes me nervous, it’s a lot of pressure on one little blast but I’m trying just to stay positive.

Next step.....ICSI
Hi All, Thank you for your comments on my last (very angry) post. Both made it to our appointment & although a little hungover, lovely man resumed & it was fine. Very tired girlfriend felt a little guilty at the public boyfriend bashing but that’s how I felt last night. We got good news & bad news
