And so it begins...
Round 3 of IVF+
ICSI
cycle. 12years waiting for that little bundle of joy. This will be our 2nd fresh cycle and we’ve had 1 FET. Trying to be upbeat but all I feel is doom and gloom. Period started today so I guess I need to call the clinic. Praying this will be our time.

BMI too high?
Hi All, My bmi is 29.5, and with one failed round of
icsi
in January, we are attempting our second round in July. During our follow up meeting with the consultant, he advised that it may help our chances if my bmi was reduced.

Anyone pay for their own treatment?
OH literally has no money left after we both jointly paid for 2 rounds of
ICSI
and meds which both failed. The only option we have is donor eggs in Cyprus. Hoping it works but i will have to pay for it myself out of my savings. Anyone had to bite the bullet and pay for their own cycle as OH skint?

Overstimulation = poor quality eggs?
I have just had my 1st cycle
ICSI
ivf, I produced 10 eggs and 5 fertilised. I had a 3dt with 2 embies but was told they were all not very good quality, fragmented and irregular. Just wanted some feed back regardeing research that indicates high stimulation results in poor quality eggs.

Advice for a women who is one "just relax" away from going completely crazy...
I'm starting to loose hope having been referred last October for fertility help after paying privately for my OH sperm tests which recommended
ICSI
. I had had 2 ultrasound scans previously which both showed I had polycystic ovaries but I haven't got full blown PCOS.

Egg Quality - Products to avoid?
So we had our follow up last night for our second failed
icsi
cycle. My consultant went through changes and improvements for our next fresh cycle. It came up about day to day things I should avoid which can affect egg quality, such as perfumes, hairspray, strong smelling beauty products etc....

Small lump on right breast near cleavage?
Hello, I'm 10 weeks pregnant via
icsi
and stopped taking progesterone pessaries about 5 days ago. I've discovered a small hard lump on my right breast near my cleavage which feels the size of maybe half a pea.

My journey so far....
I will start my NHS funded IVF &
ICSI
treatment in a couple of weeks time. I've just come back from my nurses appointment where they have talked us through every step of the process that has yet to come - it is overwhelming and daunting but one step at a time!

bloating after miscarriage
I had our first and only nhs
icsi
cycle but unfortunately this ended in miscarriage at 5 1/2 weeks. My stomach is really bloated, did anyone experience this or know of why this is. The miscarriage was natural and i have tested since and this shows as a negative.

NHS eligibility
He said that once we get a decent sample from my husband, he would be happy to proceed with
ICSI
. To date, my results have been pretty normal and he didn’t raise any concerns.

Miscarriage after IVF - coming to (what would have been) due date
We had our first round of IVF (well,
ICSI
) in August at Shrewsbury and could not believe it when we had a positive result. I will never ever forget that feeling!

Try again or donor eggs what would you do?
Ive already spent £15,000 on 2 rounds of
ICSI
including meds with Access Fertility. First round 5 eggs collected, only 1 fertilisted and the next day disintegrated. Second round 6 eggs, 2 fertilisted and 3 day transfer but BFN 2 weeks later. Never enough eggs fertilised to freeze any.

Supplement and diet advice please?
I have one failed
icsi
behind me which happened in January 2018. We are starting our second and last nhs funded procedure in June, and I’m wondering what supplements you all took. The dr also told me to lose some weight as that may also help? So any advice on diet, supplements is welcomed.

I'm new here 😊
Quick question - My husband has given up smoking now and we've been told he needs to be smoke free for 6 months before we can be referred for
ICSI
on the NHS. Hopefully this will be in July if he stays strong 😊 Once we are referred roughly what timescales are we looking at?

Low Amh, failed cycles, Any advice?
My long term plan is to now go through numerous MNC cycles with
ICSI
(up to 12). This message is a bit a message in a bottle to collect informed advice from women who have been through similar situation and are able to slightly anticipate the outcome or have any advice to improve it.
