Evewell advice

I would be so grateful if anyone can share their experience of the Evewell relevant to my scenario:

5 rounds of icsi

8-1

8-10 mature eggs each round, some good some poor quality embryos

very poor sperm - plan to use donor sperm for next round.

We are 43

I follow Emma the embryologist. Do you think the embryology lab makes a difference to the outcome?

I am also curious about them too, I can't tell if there is a lot of fluff there or if they are genuinely an amazing team.Emma is fantastic and is definitely redesigning the role of an embryologist in the process but someone asked her this question on an Instagram live last week. She said, obviously it does play a role, if you have a good happy embryologist who is happy at work this can lead to better results as unfortunately everyone is human but it is also about your body and the sperm you're using/the consultants approach and your response to the drugs. A united effort!

I saw your last post from around a year ago, did you end up going to ARGC at all?

No I didn't, I did another round at my local clinic. Still considering another round.

I know, it is hard to know. I didn't go to ARGC, still curious about them.

hi ! I am sorry for what you have been through. I have a similar journey and I tried Evewell thinking that lab could be the turn around solution, but unfortunately we got even worst results…it is more expensive than other clinics and they do not do anything different. Happy to share more information by PM

I’m at the evewell west London. And have friends who have had success with arch and crgh. Happy to share thoughts. Do you have specific concerns or questions?

I do think the lab makes a huge difference to outcomes but maybe more around their policies and approach. For example some labs seem to destroy grade c embryos even though they have a chance. Some labs don’t use time lapse which tells you a lot about the quality of the embryo.

Not what you're looking for?
