How to say I’ve got an ICD in my chest in different languages.
I’ll flash my card from the hospital but I was curious what other countries do for ICDs? I’m going over to Malaga for a few days so in Spanish I need to say (airport scanners etc); Tengo un DCI en mi pecho Which other countries have you had to explain your situation? What did you say?

I have waited 16 months for Angiogram and 5 months for Cardiac CT and
ICD
implant. Now been told no idea how long I will have to wait, could be months. No time scale whatsoever.

Frustrated and hopeless....
I just wanted to vent and share with people who might be going through something similar. I am nearly 35 and have been waiting for a date for my excision surgery since November. They think my endo is now stage 4 and in my bowels, bladder and ureters. Despite being at the top of this waiting list

PD Dialysis - Week 5 - Training Day 2
Today, my PD nurse hooked me up and filled me with 1200ml of PD solution 2.5 today and I was to "Dwell" for 4 hours. She checked the TB test she did yesterday and it is looking ok. She also had me to bring my vaccination and immunization records that I keep on a card at home as well as my Covid immunization

struggling with Adenomyosis
Long post sorry in advance, I’m just struggling today and need some advice. Can anyone recommend an adenomyosis specialist? My consultant was a BSGE endo specialist so I had high hopes but since I was diagnosed in November after my laparoscopy he discharged me. He’s told me my adeno isn’t responsible

mirena coil threads
I have the mirena coil inserted at the end of July for the first time (approx 3 weeks ago) at first all was fine and I could feel 2 threads quite high up. I am currently on day 14 of a very light period (lighter but longer than usual) and I can only feel one thread which is quite low down. The other

Mirena and pain!
Ended up in A and E this morning with severe stabbing pain in my uterus/ ovaries and colon. I was diaognoised with endometriosis back in february this year via a laparoscopy. I had my left ovary removed and my uterus unstuck from my colon. The surgeon said he had to leave some tissue near my colon

Just filed the latest letter.
I had joked with him that I should join the KGB or Mossad as I need a radar jammer type
ICD
to combat the spiral (?) data wave which makes my heart flutter ventricley. This spiral wave is contrary to the usual data wave we all enjoy. It eventually overcomes the usual wave.

Having mirena coil fitted
Hello! I’m 23, I’ve had endo for 10 years now. I had a mirena coil fitted when I was 18 but it was during my laparoscopy so I obviously wasn’t aware of it being inserted. Some complications and changes, it ended up ‘falling’ down. Then tried the implant and then the pill. Due to me having my symptoms

looking for advice/support - newly diagnosed and struggling.
I was taken to theatre in April for lap surgery (they only drained my cysts and sorted an intestinal adhesion) and following this was diagnosed with endometriosis. I wasn’t aware of the condition until this happened. Following this I have felt so isolated and have had no support. I saw a gynae 9 weeks

Ongoing problems 8 months since surgery
I noticed a horrible, recurring shoulder/chest pain a couple of years ago which I initially put down to a possible injury. I realised something was wrong when it started getting worse, affecting my breathing and making me not want to talk when the pain was at it's worst. I called the GP who put me on

IUD after 1st lap advice
Hi all, Apologies if it is too much info, but just want advice about my IUD. I had my first lap nearly two months ago and had an IUD put in whilst I was under. All went fine and had bleeding afterwards, as expected, and everything seemed like it all was healed and settled down afterwards, however

I just bought this PEMF therapy mat (pulsed electromagnetic frequency) after learning it treats PD
