Am I getting better or worse?
I’ve been taking a lower dose of
Ibrutinib
now for two months. How Can I tell the jump in wbc is from the
Ibrutinib
and not my CLL getting progressively worse? Nervous 😬

What is the way out of this !
Hi I am 51 and just started on Venetoclax after a resistance to
Ibrutinib
. I have already had a couple of near misses this year with 10 weeks in Hospital from the 6th Jan with a serious chest infection and pneumonia which coincided with low platelets (4), then a blood clot on the lung developed.

CLL & Ibrutinib: bleeding, bruising and broken fingernails
59, diagnosed at 53 with unmutated, del17 CLL and started
Ibrutinib
June 2019. Fairly wild ride to date: early on was a lot of edema, particularly in lower legs, ankles and feet. That subsided in time, as promised. Blood tests are almost normal now, as promised.

Ibrutinib supply?
Since
ibrutinib
is made in Wuhan China, are there any worries about supply shortages?

B-PLL: Ibrutrinib Monotherapy or Obinutuzumab (aka Gazyva) & Venetoclax Combination as first-line treatment for transformed CLL
We have two CLL experts who propose different treatment plans for first-line therapy: 1) Monotherapy
Ibrutinib
or Acalabrutinib 2) Combination therapy Gazyva and Venetoclax We know that treatment 2 is fixed in duration and holds promise for disease clearance for an indeterminate period of time but

Medical update ibrutinib
The Dr told me the treatment if required is immunotherapy and is not nice so he has given me two weeks and an alternative antibiotic to temper bacterial infection also to again stop
ibrutinib
. I'm back after 2 weeks to repeat the tests and take it from there.

CLL & CV19
I am on FLAIR drug trials using
ibrutinib
for five years. My blood is almost normal, but am still on the drugs, so my immune system is compromised. I still haven’t received a high risk letter, although my trial nurse says I am. Too many contradictions.

Stem Cell Transplant
My doctor says that after a 2nd remission, meaning after
ibrutinib
and venetoclax have failed that a stem cell transplant is the next option. I have been on IB for 14 months and it has been amazing but I am terrified about doing a stem cell transplant.

ACCEPTED INTO LOXO-305 CLINICAL TRIAL
After being diagnosed in 2009 with CLL, I have been through 3 prior treatments, FCR,
Ibrutinib
and Venclaxta. I had a 5 1/2 year remission with FCR, 3 with
Ibrutinib
,and about 18 months with Venclaxta. After my relapse in December 2019, I was offered a place in the LOXO trial.

Can I be cured of CLL?
I've been on 420mg of
Ibrutinib
(Imbruvica) for five years. My now 6 month oncologists visits show my WBC's in the normal range and most likely in remission.

Ibrutinib covid immune system
The actual question is it better to stop
ibrutinib
with flu/covid symptoms and if body may develop antibodies if you under
ibrutinib
and have covid.

CLL & the Corona virus
I have been on the FLAIR drug trials for five years, taking
Ibrutinib
, plus Co-Trimoxazole and Aciclovir. My blood cancer has gone into remission, but there are still enough bad cells for me to continue on the drugs. Recently I developed a dry cough and inflamed vocal cords.

My oncologist has today reduced my
ibrutinib
to 2 capsules per day because of the girls problems. Any discussions from anyone else lowering their meds?

Hand therapy that works!
Just wanted to share this success story with other
Ibrutinib
users out there. Best thing is the stuff is inexpensive.

CLL/SLL and Ibrutinib
I finally started on
Ibrutinib
last Friday. The doctor settled on
Ibrutinib
because it has good penetration to the spinal fluid and a spinal tap had shown cancer cells in the spinal fluid. So far the side effects on
Ibrutinib
have been very mild. I’ve felt sick, but not terribly.
