Hello wanted some advice. I have some excema on m my face and I’m trying to use hydrocortisone on it but I am so scared to get what they call topical steroid withdrawal which looks horrid. It looks like it’s very rare and it’s mostly for people who keep putting steroid creams on without breaks for years

Cortisol results question
So I've been looking again at my cortisol test results. After looking on this website http://www.rt3-adrenals.org/cortisol_testing.html , which I see quoted with some frequency on this website, it gives examples of cortisol results. My results were: AM:
12
(7-30)
21%
through range Noon

Low cortisol: will it improve when I'm on HRT?
I think I just keep asking the same question but in various different ways. 😂 I work term time only and every half term I'm full of optimism about what me and the kids can do and how much I'll get done in the house and inevitably I spend all week on the sofa. It's the same every time. I recognise

Thought I would share my ablation - atrial tachycardia, experience with you. It all took place last Wednesday I was first on the list, which was good, all ran smoothly, had

Rashes with lymphoedema
Hi everyone :-) I wear Class 3 Compression stockings below the knee. When the weather warms up, so do my legs and I end up with a rash on both legs. I'm then unable to wear the stockings to keep the swelling down. The rash can take sometimes four days or longer to settle. Does anyone else have the same

Itchy ears
I've read through different things about itchy ears. For me personally, first time in my life I experience such thing that the itch starts from the outer part of the ear and each time develops fast to a feeling like a bug is running into my ear and is messing around in there. It's already eating my nerves

Hydrocortisone brand search
I am looking for any information if Hydrocortisone 10mg tablets of Resolution Chemicals Ltd. are still prescribed via the NHS or NHS supported pharmacies. I have a terrible time to source these. These tablets created the most stable quality of life for me when I was on them with minimal sick day rules

Has anyone had to stop actemra?
I am two years into GCA, was down to 5mg of prednisone, had adrenal tests to if glands were working or trying to and had positive results. Last week I was hospitalized with acute diverticulitis (not my first time) and adrenal insufficiency. I learned the hard way that just because they say your adrenal

Changing from Prednisolone to possibly Hydrocortisone
Good morning Following a Synacthen test my Rheumatologist has said my Adrenals gave a very good response, currently taking 5.5 mg Pred . He wrote in his letter he would like me off Pred ASAP and will discuss possibly changing to Hydrocortisone when I see him next week . He has always been doubtful

Bruises, Ankles Swelling, ETC.
Never a dull moment. Diagnosed with PMR since Jan '22 and now at 32 mg. Pred after that GCA scare in Jan. 2 3. I am 73, but the bruising has just begun. Nasty ones and I don't remember bumping the areas where they are (like the joint of my big toe at the side), so it doesn't take much. Presuming thinning

T3 or Hydrocortisone
I’ve historically had problems raising my levo dose, as soon as I get to 50, I start to feel dreadful. I’ve been experimenting with hydrocortisone at 2.5 and 5mg doses alongside the levo. I stopped the HC for a week to see if it made a difference and re-started again yesterday at 5mg. OH BOY! There’s
