Hello wanted some advice. I have some excema on m my face and I’m trying to use hydrocortisone on it but I am so scared to get what they call topical steroid withdrawal which looks horrid. It looks like it’s very rare and it’s mostly for people who keep putting steroid creams on without breaks for years.. does anybody have any comments on advice? Am I ok to use hydrocortisone on my face for a few weeks or should I take breaks?

Morning Gledwin, I think you will be OK but see this great website that has lots of answers eczemacareonline.org.uk. It was set up by dermatologists, clinicians, pharmacists and so on and lots of research was carried out first. Hope it helps.

I’m new to this site and just saw your post about your concern of topical steriod withdrawal. I supported my husband through this and it was an awful affliction. Luckily we found a solution. I hope that your eczema has resolved now.
