DIPNECH diagnosis.
DIPNECH - carcinoid lung nodules. Has anybody had this recognised as cancer by DWP when there is minimal cancel active, although present? I was told by an ILD consultant at Rbh that they don’t? Even though it requires regular Pet CT scans. Bella.

Lost my lovely Dad 48 hours ago....want to thank you all.
Dad had another spinal cord compression at C2. PSA at this point was 3700. Radiotherapy was out of the question; having had treatment there before. Came home from hospital, and we tried desperately to take him to Istanbul for Lu177. We even booked the tickets. Sadly, 24 hours later, he deteriorated

recently diagnosed with 3.5cm acoustic neuroma
Hello, I’m new here 😀 in July 2024, I was diagnosed with a 3.5cm Acoustic Neuroma after having some CT scans at the hospital. I noticed my hearing was going in my right ear a couple of years ago, and thought nothing of it, until now. The ringing, buzzing and sounds of crickets is getting slightly worse

FDA approved Inavolisib for PIK3 mutation
I am back on here and I wanted to share that my blood biopsy last month showed a PIK3 mutation. Then, since I am a reader, I found out that Inavolisib has just been approved to be taken with ibrance and fulvestrant I currently take ibrance and letrozole. It seems the Inavolisib has less side effects

Seeking guidance with different Prostate Cancer biopsy results
My urologist had a local pathology laboratory perform the analysis of my biopsy and it resulted in a 4+3=7. I chose radiation therapy and went to a center of excellence and they performed another assessment of the biopsy which resulted in a 4+5=9. Finally we had Joh Hopkins assess the slides and they

I joined the community over a year ago when i got a routine blood test back that was a bit high but below the threshold for further tests. Continued that way for 18 months until last week CLL was confirmed while doing a biopsy for a suspect mole and having a melanoma removed. So a double whammy. More

Interesting ... Tumor Location and Tumor Sidedness can play a role in treatment🤔
https://www.knowyourbiomarker.org/biomarkers/tumor-location Fast facts: A. Right-sided colon cancer is located in the cecum, ascending colon, hepatic flexure, or transverse colon. B. Left-sided colorectal cancer is located in the splenic flexure, descending colon, sigmoid colon, or rectum. C. Right-sided

estrogen cream
Hi! I’m wondering if any of you ladies have tried estrogen vaginal cream? 8 years and counting.
well 8 years ago I got the sad face from my doctor. 50/50 chance of 5 years. Now as my wife would say I’m past my expectations date. On top of that just had hip surgery on both hips. Went in for one hip, left hip ball worn out, but x rays showed that the cancer had eaten all the way across the femur

Phase 1 Clinical Trial of AGX101, a novel TM4SF1-Directed Antibody-Drug Conjugate for the Treatment of Solid Tumors
A new and hopefully potent ADC. Antibody-drug conjugates, not only for prostate cancer, are a hot topic now, so they should get better and better as competition rises. https://www.biospace.com/angiex-announces-first-patient-dosed-in-phase-1-clinical-trial-of-agx101-a-novel-tm4sf1-directed-antibody-drug-conjugate-for-the-treatment-of-solid-tumors

Hi All, I had my 3rd liver bI iopsy last Monday, This was in a matter of weeks. When I saw my liver consultant he told me I had liver cancer with a 3cm lesion. He is hoping to start me on radiotherapy once he gets the result from my 3rd liver biopsy. I have the attitude to fight this terrible disease

Stage four ….
I had chemoradiation for oesophogeal cancer in late 2023, not seen as suitable for operation. Now have metastases to ureter ( not v usual) and am about to start more Folfox with Nivolumab for three months. Seems the prognosis depends on how well I respond to this treatment. Anyone with similar
