Dad had another spinal cord compression at C2. PSA at this point was 3700. Radiotherapy was out of the question; having had treatment there before. Came home from hospital, and we tried desperately to take him to Istanbul for Lu177. We even booked the tickets. Sadly, 24 hours later, he deteriorated severely and passed away on 9th Aug 5:00pm. We were all with him and he was surrounded by love.I wanted to reach out to everyone here who took time out to post a message of hope, potential treatment, clinical trials etc. Those were dark desperate times, and each reply to me meant so much as I kept on going, trying to find Dad a treatment. So, a massive thanks. This forum truly is special and helped me in my darkest times.
Keep up the good fight against this savage disease and I wish you all better times ahead.
Now to pick up the pieces and try and slowly rebuild my life.

I'm very sorry to hear that you lost your Father Omer. You were a loving child and did all that you could for him. He knew he was surrounded by love at the end. May you find peace and healing in your memories with him.
My sincerest condolences 💐 for your loss and many thx for your kind words. I’m sure your dad was proud having a son like you. As most of us, you’ve did all (and more), what can be done. We don’t know, when it’s time to go, but we know, that all of us will be united again someday.
So sorry Omer for your family's loss. I pray that you will have the time to heal and to remember the good times, the laughter. Your support for your father is humbling.

Your dear Dad 56 years old......and you 30 years old.... too damn young. I know you both loved each other and you will miss him every day for the rest of your life. God Bless him and God Bless you and the rest of his family.
Omer, I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Please know how supported you are by the legion of us who have fought alongside, and have lost, loved ones. When all fiercely supportive efforts and diligence and prayer and fortitude cannot produce a medical miracle, we find a way, finally, to rest in knowing steadfast love is the miracle that matters most. Thinking of you, and sending you peace.
