Has anyone been offered the Pneumococcal vaccine?
Just had a call from my GP surgery offering me this vaccine saying that I qualified for this due to my medications. I’ve asked for more information so will await a call from the nurse but wondered if anyone knew anything about it? Not sure I want any more vaccines at the moment!

Covid Vaccine. Second or third trimester?
I wanted to postpone the vaccine until the third trimester. But now, with the change of the mask mandate in the UK, it might have to anticipate it. I am scared though. Did anyone have bad experiences taking the vaccine in the second trimester? (Even the NHS flu vaccine is only received at 28 weeks..)

Shingles Vaccine
I have just been offered the Shingles Vaccine and have concerns about having it as it's alive vaccine as I understand people with APS should avoid live vaccines. Has anyone had this vaccine and was there any side effects .

Very Anxious about COVID Vaccine
Hello, everyone. I scheduled my first dose of the COVID vaccine for next Friday. I am very anxious about this because I had an adverse reaction to the flu shot. I had to be allergy tested for the COVID vaccine and I am not allergic to it. That is the good news. I know I need to go into this with a positive

Hello, after 2 years of treatment I stopped my Biologic Benepali last April 2021 (after 2 yrs it caused a severe, itchy, neck, chest and face rash that wouldn't go away with Betnovate and Piriton). Later in April, I had a steroid injection and my 2nd Astra Z (no after effects) On 16th June I paid £500

Does getting annual flu shot help fight against Covid-19?
Was wondering about this question and planning to ask my CLL and GP docs what they knew. Plus given all the HU posts on antibodies testing/protection against covid (or not) per post covid vaccine taking, has me thinking various vaccine questions. Since doc offices are closed today, I did the “no-no

Dear friends, I have a ‘what would you do’ scenario that I’d really love your help with, please.
A short update for those following - When I saw my haematologist last week it was quite unpleasant, I think her impatience was due to her ridiculous workload or her frustration that she can’t really guide me. I dared not question her words or ask too many Q’s, I left it at a couple, one of them was re

Baricitinib and shingles
Hello all. I'm set to start Baricitnib next week and read that one of the side effects is shingles. As a result, I'm considering paying out of pocket for a non-live vaccine. I'm just wondering which other UK posters have done so? And if you did receive the non-live shingles vaccine, how did you go about

Hiv transmition by a syringe stick
If you find a syringe in the trash, and you accidentally stick yourself on it or you think that you have. Will you get hiv? Does the hiv virus live the syringe or is it different by injecting it and to get a syringe stick on your finger?
