Things I Like About ADT
I know that no one, like NO ONE, actually wants to be on ADT. There are a lot of downsides to it, and complaints about the fatigue, lack of sex drive, etc. are a common theme on this forum. I'm about a year out now from starting on Zoladex shots (a drug that works in the same way as Lupron), and I

Colonoscopy next week
Hello everyone, I am 40 years of age, living in Scotland, on waiting list for Hysterectomy (88 weeks so far) I have suspected endometriosis - symptoms of pain and heavy bleeding from womb. In past 6 months, have also been having issues with my bowel - extreme pain with toileting and anything vaguely

Hi, following on from my last post I wondered if anyones prognosis has been wrong? I am not sure our moderators will allow my post but I am in a sad hole.. My chemo ( 3rd line carbo then cisplatin and Gemcitabine) has been stopped after 3 treatments due to toxicity. I was really unwell on it . Ct shows

Taking hours to fall asleep
Gabapentin has controlled my RLS for last year or so. I only take 600 mg at bedtime for last 3/4 months now. I have recently started having difficulty falling asleep (no RLS, just wide awake for 3/4 hours). I thought about asking for a sleep aid from GP but didn't want to take anything that would aggrevate

Antiinflammatory medications with Jakafi
I've read that there is a moderate risk of bleeding after using ibuprofen with Jakafi. I'd appreciate hearing reactions from people on Jakafi who have taken ibuprofen and other anti-inflammatory medications. Which anti-inflammatory medications would minimize the risk of such interactions? Thanks, Steve

Hello. Low grade Serous
Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with low grade serous ovarian cancer in Sept 22, I’ve had 2 massive ops and chemo and now take Letrozole. My recent scans have been clear, which is the best news. I haven’t really reached out to many support groups but feel I need to as I feel pretty isolated with my experience

So down today 🥺 Why does everything take so long and nothing helps
I'm in my late 40s and have a provisional diagnosis of Adenomyosis I don't think I've ever felt so low, as today. I'm waiting for urgent mri scan results, that I had 5 weeks ago. I am in crippling pain. My bowels are all over the place and everyday I have rectal bleeding. I can't tolerate stronger pain

IBS Diarrhoea
Hi Just wondered if other people have experienced the same as me, I have had diarrhoea for over 5 weeks now and gone through 5 boxes of Imodium and severe stomach pain with several trips to the hospital in the last month. I have not been able to work in the last month and have no idea what to eat

chronic rectal bleeding, colonoscopy normal
I have been dealing with chronic rectal bleeding for at least 8 months, if not more. Been blown off by doctors. My family doctor finally sent me to a general surgeon who ordered a colonoscopy. Was instantly not a fan of him. My consultation was literally a minute long. He was very arrogant, and didn’

Prostate cancer in liver
Have recently had a PSMA scan. This did show some hot spots for sure. But also, three smaller spots on my liver that did not give off PSMA. Did a liver Biopsy. which is rather painful I might add. Will meet with my 0ncologist on Monday to look at options. Any suggestion for the three rather small spots

Thank you all
I wanted to get on here and thank everyone for there input on my questions about PIQRAY. After all my do diligence on PIQRAY my oncologist threw me a curve ball and decided to go with Verzenio faslodex and xgeva. Because i had higher % of Ers1 mutations then Pik3ca mutations. Octasa / Mesalazine - Should I be seeing more of a change?
Hello. I have struggled with symptoms for 2 years - loose, frequent bowels, always with urgency, fatigue, etc. Had colonoscopy and relevant tests and doctor says that I likely have crohns and is treating me as such. I had steroids for 3 months which generally helped (though my calprotectin was higher

I can't say I have diarrhea or constipation....but my gut does react to stress. It changes my stool shape, thickness, at times color but I don't necessarily have diarrhea or constipation. Maybe once a month I'll have diarrhea Anyone have this? Could I still have IBS? thank you

What are "normal" bowel movements?
With IBS have you noticed your stool never looks the same? Has anyone seen a change in how their stools look? Do they seem erratic, every day they look different? Sometimes it's thinner, sometimes it's not as long, sometimes it's short, sometimes it's weird shaped like a J...etc. Have you had a
