I have my telephone follow up appointment tomorrow following open heart surgery to remove a tumour from my left atria. Does anyone have any tips on questions I should ask due to me not being seen in person.

Today’s EP Tele-health appointment
I’m grateful that I have such a good relationship with my EP. We had a phone catch up today and he reassured me that there was no AF on the recent Kardia tracing I’d sent through (which was 135 bpm and said “possible AF”). He said there were runs of atrial bigeminy then a run of atrial tachycardia then

Asymptomatic and Heart Valve disease
A year ago after a general 'health MOT' I was found to have arrhythmia, further investigation revealed I had a leaky mitral heart valve. This all came as a complete surprise because I had experienced no symptoms e.g breathlessness or chest pain. Since that time I have been taking warfarin and understood

Bezafibrate with Urso really helps
Everyone with PBC and increasing ALP should ask for the combi-therapy with Bezafibrat. Your doctor can prescribe it with the diagnosis: metabolic fat disorder, so to avoid that it is not yet approved for PBC, because studies are so expensive for this cheap medicine. (We all Pbc-ers have metabolic fat-disorder

Although exercising, I can still get out of breath crossing the room. Having said that, yesterday was the 1st day I did not feel tired. But, at the same time I did not

I am so scared of going to sleep. I woke up from my sleep suddenly and was out of breath, sweating and heart racing with chest pains. It’s calmed down now but I get so scared thinking I am having a heart attack. How do I know it’s not a heart attack please help :(

Coronavirus gov message
Just received gov_uk SMS telling me to stay indoors for 12w because of “my condition” I am 68, had my spleen removed in 1975 and a heart bypass in 2008. Rang my surgery and nurse came back to me saying it’s probably because of my past operations as above. Does anyone know if this is correct? I can’t

Antihistamines and high blood pressure medication
Have suffered high blood pressure for many years and take Enalapril. Last year had a heart bypass so end up with a few more pills to take but find I am not allowed any cold remedies. Now I discover that I may suffer from Hay Fever - can I safely take anything to relieve the symptoms?

Apixaban
I have changed from Xarelto to Apixaban . I now have really upset gut and tight chest . Is it just me being neurotic or have others experienced this ? I don stand much chance of getting it changed now. I cMe iff Xarelto because of increasing joint pain. Hope you are all well.

Weak voice
My husband had a quadruple heart bypass 8 weeks ago. He is making a steady recovery and can now walk up and down gentle hills for 45 minutes each day. However he is often very tired and has to have a couple of naps lying on his bed each day. What we both find strange is that his voice has changed since

Having just got Disney+ 'for the kids' just watched The Simpsons episode where Homer has a heart bypass, 'Bed goes up, bed goes down' 😂😂😂! If nothing else, watching Homer is helping me stick to my diet while we can't go out 😂!
