Hi has anyone else just being diagnosed this, I'm finding it hard to sleep due to palpitations and shortness of breath, not sure if it's anxiety or the condition.

Heart block stage One
I have av block 1. Not normally anything to worry about. Benign and not normally treated. Don't worry. Keep monitoring it say once per year. But of course check with your doctor.
Hi, I have the same and tbh it's really nothing to worry about unless you need to take beta blockers. It's relatively common in older people and just means the electrical signal between the atria and ventricle is slightly slower than normal. Usually it's just noted and there's no need to treat. However, I do have another condition that requires medication that it is an issue, so I have had a pacemaker fitted which keeps my baseline heart rate above 60bpm but that was fitted four years after the initial finding of a grade one heart block. I suspect your night time palpitations are absolutely nothing to do with heart block but I'm not a doctor. Anxiety can cause palpitations, I hope this puts your mind at rest.
