Hi, I have just been diagnosed with 2:1 AV heart block following a week long Holter monitor. Have been on treatment with Latanoprost for elevated intra-ocilar pressure and wonder if anyone has been in the same situation and been advised to use different eye drops as there is a possible link between Latanoprost and palpitations.
Please respond and TIA.

Hello LionsMagenta, I was interested to read your post, especially as I use Monopost eye drops which I believe contain Latanprost. Do you have Glaucoma? You may find the Glaucoma U.K. website, also available on here, is very helpful and the people are generally very friendly. I can’t say that my eye drops cause palpitations, although I do get them sometimes but I have always put them down to stress. I hope you get some helpful answers from either of the websites.
Thank you very much, I have intraocular hypertension which can be a glaucoma pre-cursor. I looked at the patient information leaflet for Latanoprost and one of the less common side effects can be palpitation. Suggest you have a look at your patient information leaflet for Momopost to see if similar. Will look at Glaucoma UK website, thanks for the tip!
