mental health in first trimester
GP has tested
HCG
levels twice (in the first week) and is happy that the are “progressing” (but that was now 2 1/2 weeks ago). And also seems to be of the attitude shut up and go home and wait.

palpitations when exercising - 200bpm
Has anyone suffered from heart palpitations when they exercise? I am 33, I would say I am pretty fit and health and have been running for years. Over the last 6 month I have been suffering with heart palpitations on some occasions when I run. There doesn’t seem to be any pattern to when it happens, it

ECG readings using an Apple Watch
Hi everyone, I hope most of us are well a part from a few on here which are recovering :). I’ve recently noticed over the last couple of months (2-3months) a slight change in my ECGs. I have attached a reading from early hours of the morning last night when I was suddenly awoken with pain in my upper

Monday due to have exercise MRI
I had a heart attach 7.5 years ago. Now having had an episode of severe chest pain and a two night hospital stay - no troponin increase or iffy ecg, I’ve got to have a stress MRY on Monday and I’m absolutely terrified. Has anyone on here had one?

Hypothyroid Disease, High Cortisol, Palpitations, and Angina- a pattern of longterm decline
I've had Hashimotos Thyroid Disease since 2007. I was feeling good having got myself on a hormone regime which was making me feel energised and pretty free of symptoms. With this new found optimism I set about losing weight and getting fit. Over a year I lost 8 kg and was doing daily HIT and resistance

My son, age 22, just diagnosed with Testicular Cancer
Blood work came back - AFP 697.9,
hCG
-B 1307.4, and LDH was normal at 189. Based on those numbers - thinking non-seminoma testicular cancer. But I am new to this. Yesterday - he went back to Baylor (10 hours away) for his last semester of college.

Anxiety about Ectopic Beats?
Hi everyone, I am a 29 year old male from the UK who has been having ectopic beats now for the last 2 years. I was on Bisoprolol 1.25mg per day since September 2022, but have recently started cutting the tablets in half and only having half a dose daily due to getting bradycardia at night and at points

hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
During an unrelated operation my ECG & blood pressure raised a concern with my heart. After a Eco heart Scan I was informed I have a hypertrophic cardiomyopathy issue and now on Bisoprolol 1.25g medication. What I am trying to find out is what lifestyle changes I need to make, if any. Can I still drink

Ectopic Beats ruining my life
So I’ve always suffered with anxiety all my life, last year I was going through a lot of stress with work and in December I got stranded in Germany due to bad snow. I was having panic attacks with heart palpitations over Christmas then on Boxing Day I had sat down and I felt this weird thud/flutter in

Slow irregular heartbeat?
Was diagnosed with arrhythmia last autumn, currently on edoxaban, flecanide and bisoprolol. About 20 hours ago my heart started beating irregularly, it is still slow (about 50 bpm) and seems to be missing a beat every 3/4 beats. NHS111 yesterday advised going to A&E where they did ECG and blood

Concern over heart issues affecting the brain, thought patterns, concentration etc.
After suffering from sheer exhaustion tiredness for over a year, the hospital picked up Bigeminy during an ECG in spring last year - when reviewing chest pain after choking on food. Finally saw Cardiology for 1st time in Nov when a follow up ECG showed bigemniy and frequent VE's. Heart ultra-sound

Mitral Valve Leak
I saw a cardiology registrar today about the symptoms of my mild to moderate mitral valve leak which has only started during the last five months. He’s given me isosorbide mononitrate and arranged a 24 hour ecg. Does anyone know if this will be effective? I feel it’s just masking the symptoms. This
