Pathos Report from Transurethral Urinary Bladder Tumor Resection
Finishing the surgery, my urologist thought the bladder tumors were entirely superficial and it shouldn’t affect my status for getting a lung transplant (the parameters are cancer free, smoke free for at least two years). Turns out some were low grade, but some were high grade (actively growing). Very

Flu jab
Has anyone refused to have a flu jab or had more flu like symptoms afterwards. I was just wondering if the steroids would affect anything in any way. Currently on 17.5mg. for PMR.

All that worry....
I was so stressed about the mtx shots that I was up at 3am today. Turned out fine tho they gave me the not reloaded mtx rx and needles and all that. I wasn’t too thrilled w that and the RN got my rheumy and they represcribed the kind that is already loaded. But learned both for now since they wouldn’

What is the best advice for psoriatic / RA and the flu jab
My local GP surgery have just advertised this year flu jab sessions! I would be extremely grateful for people's advice regarding such a jab whilst taking 20mg MTX and likely zero positive psoriatic arthritis. Thank you for reading Nathan

SLE & Pneumococcal vaccine ?
Hi! My GP offered me a Pneumococcal vaccine. When I asked if it's live he said yes but NHS says otherwise: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/pneumococcal-vaccination/ Has anyone had an adverse reaction to it? 🍂 🍁 🍄🌻🐿xxx

Is new beefed up flu jab good for us RA sufferers?
Boosting the immune system is usually a no no for us. Has any work been done on balance of risks/benefits for us?

Home from physical today
I have to have blood work done (forgot to fast which I usually try to do before these appts..sigh). Dr's nurse did an EKG as he does that for most patients nearing 40 (I've had one for at least the last 3 years). I am getting a referral to get a mammogram again this year with a history of breast cancer

Nasal Atomiser, Asthma Thought
As many will know, it’s believed around 80% of Asthma Exacerbations could be triggered by Rhinovirus (Nasal) Infections. Some folk will already be regularly using Nasal Flushing in the hope of reducing infections but, personally, I consider doing so a bit ‘too severe’, as our Noses already produce there

Leflunomide and Neutropaenia
Following on from recent post Im about to start wash out for Leflunomide. Have had to stop meds due to low neutrophils (0.7). RA nurse has said to have low tolerance for contacting GP or 111 if I feel more ill than I already do and to avoid people who are ill and maintain good hygiene. My question is
