Liver Friendly Medication?
Hello, Its been a series of events that have led to this question. I'll hit the bullet points. Bad Anxiety, caused vertigo, cant walk, bad vertigo. Prescribed Klonopin, 3mg/day for almost 4 years, worked fantastic. Dr. Retired, cut off w/ one week 1/2 mg

I have been through 5 psychiatrists in my life. 3 were absolutely terrible and didn't know what they were doing. This is very common in psychiatry. The quality control is probably the worst of all fields of medicine. It is a guessing game. No lab work to refer to, no ultrasound or biopsy. It's a trial

Why are benzos so vilified and how do I bring this up with a new doctor without sounding like a drug seeker?
I have an appointment with a new provider. He gave me an initial consult regarding what I was currently taking. He was cool with almost all my regimen except for the klonopin part (.5mgx2/day). I've expressed willingness to try other meds for anxiety, but at the same time, klonopin/benzos are the only

Possible fear of pooing (2 year old boy)
I have a 2 year old boy who is struggling with doing a poo. At first we thought he was constipated and it was painful, as he has a had a couple of 'hard poos' in the past. We have been giving lactulose, and calpol to help with any pain, but it now appears he is holding it in, and extremely reluctant

7 month old screaming from teething pains but won't take Calpol or teething ring, any suggestions please?
I've also tried him with some teething granules but he went red and a bit puffy, so I won't be doing that again! I thought kids loved Calpol but my little boy just won't take it, he keeps turning his head from side to side with his mouth shut tight. When I did manage to get a little in his mouth he spat

Use of Desmopressin
Hi My 6.5 yr old girl has virtually never been dry at night (complete opposite during the day) and itās really starting to get her (and me) down. Weāve tried the night alarm which woke everyone else up in the house but my daughter. I our doctor has now suggested Desmopressin at the lowest dose for starters

PSP and Sleep
My dad has PSP and we are to the point now where he is having trouble sleeping almost nightly. I have read as much as I can and it doesn't look like there is much we can do to fix this. The hospice nurse keeps upping the Haldol and Trazadone but that just makes my dad loopy. Any advice is greatly
