Is this normal?
After my blood tests last week I was asked to go in on Thursday for a transfusion, as
haemoglobin
only 69. Felt better for a few days after that but started to get breathless again from Tuesday. Had another transfusion today. Nurse said I might need them weekly for a while.

B12 Deficiency or Underactive Thyroid at Play?
Recently, my FBC came back with:
Mean cell
level 32.7 pg [27.0 - 32.0]; Above high reference limit Only just above the range. Am I right in thinking this confirms anemia?

Update.
The steroids I am on has have improved my
haemoglobin
and I am reducing the dosage over 4 weeks. I am to stay on folic acid tablets for the mean time. The letter I received states that my haematologist cannot say whether or when the Rituximab I received will kick in.

Should I be worried?
My recent bloods of 4th December show:
Haemoglobin
, 107. overall WBC, 110. Platelets, 162. WBC 3.64. and Lymphocytes,104. I have to be honest, I don't really know what they all mean. But she seemed to indicate that, those that readings meant treatment was needed now.

Bloods unstable
Since my diagnosis my bloods have only been stable for a few weeks and at my last review I was told my
haemoglobin
169 and haemltocrit had crept back up to 0.527 I was told they didn't want to send me for a venesection because they need to control my blood count with the interferon and that over venesection

I had my blood results on Tuesday, my
haemoglobin
had dropped like a stone to 69, my white count dropped from 5.10 to 3.6, RBC down to 2.29 from 3.27, RDW up to 22.6 from 20.6. Spleen enlarged too. Platelets ok at 280.

Determining if you'll never need treatment. It is feasible and safe to stop specialized follow-up of asymptomatic lower risk CLL?
So if you are deemed to have low risk CLL/SLL, this is where your knowledge of CLL/SLL becomes very important in ensuring your long term health and why it makes sense to track your critical blood test results;
haemoglobin
and platelet counts and lymphocyte doubling time, as well as being observant
