Good News! But what about the joints (ankles, knees, elbows)?
Happy Monday, everyone. My pilgrimage to Rochester, Minnesota went well, last week. 656 days post diagnosis my PSA is, again, dropping after a modest post-radiation flair--now down to 0.14 (from the low three digits in April of '18). I'm pleased with the trajectory but I don't think I'll make it to zero

Wit's end! Switch Levo brands, try NDT again, be patient with different dosage?
To end on a positive note, and for whom it may concern, for the joint pains I’ve started supplementing
with
tablets containing
Glucosamine
, Hyaluronic acid,
Chondroitin
and
MSM
(sugar & gluten free) and it’s helping.

In Defence of Vaping
Looking through related posts I can see that my views in support of vaping will cause consternation among many here. Anyway, here goes....... 70 year old male, sustained moderate to heavy tobacco user for more than 50 years. Diagnosed with moderate copd in 2010. Switched to vaping 2013 and vaping high

Lisinopril
I had a heart attack in 2005 and a stent fitted in my right coronary artery. At the time I was put on 2.5 mg bisoprolol, 2.5mg lisinopril, 75mg apirin and 40 mg simvastatin . I am now 69 years old. I dropped the lisinopril about 5 years ago as my BP was not an issue and my GP thought it may be contributing

IL-8, The Inflammatory Mediator That Is 220% + Higher In PWP Cerebrospinal Fluid Than In Control Subjects And Possible Ways To Deal With It
In a recent reply post to forum member Parkie13 (Mary) I was discussing the chemokine Interleukin-8 (IL-8) and its relationship to PD and Multiple Sclerosis(MS) which I had only recently read about myself. The conversation got going because the post was discussing the possibility that MS may be caused

I have joint pain due to hormone therapy medication I have to take for breast cancer. The main effect is mildly in the wrists, ankle and knees. Recently though my back and hip became quite painful. Wednesday I had a full body bone scan to make sure it wasn’t metastatic BC. I was convinced it would be

Pre-RA and three months on from initial consultation
Wanted to share an update on my Pre-RA and steps I have been taken. 3 months since seeing GP, and just over 2 since seeing consultant; I have made all suggested changes. Albeit, smoking only reduced by half. I have l lost 12kg now, and am going to the gym 6 days a week. The gym has been really important

Colloidal Silver, DMSO, MSM
Has anyone heard of the above or tried colloidal silver for pain (Rheumatoid Arthritis)? A friend introduced me to some 5 different samples last week and the pain seems to go away immediately after applying just a pea sized gel on my wrist. She also sent me papers on it to research. Its obviously

Osteoarthritis knee pain eased
I have followed a similar path to many of painkillers and treatments. But two months ago I was so lucky to find some relief. And I can't put this down to any particular treatment or medication. Through a 24 hour day, and for different treatments, I take Glucosamine. Rivaroxaban. Amlodipine. Atorvastatin
