Gentamicin Nebulised
I was wondering if there is anyone that is on
Gentamicin
and if it keeps Mr Monus in check? If this doesn't help it will be back to the Colomycin but its worth a try. Thank you. Linda

Pd catheter exit site care
I am currently using (since May)
gentamicin
sulfate cream. I am convinced that it makes me itchy around the site and I can't scratch it. The doctors and nurses suggested benadryl. That hasn't worked either.

Pseudonyms appear to be responding to
gentamicin
but l would like to make sure we are not missing any underlying symptoms. I was literally speechless. I ca not praise this GP enough and will be writing to the Practice manager to tell her what a wonderful Dr she is.

Chest Clinic update
Should be good, as it means I can keep my immunity deficient body out of hospital, and also clear up some of these lingering infections which the
Gentamicin
nebulised twice a day and the Azythromycin three times a week, aren't controlling very well. Hopefully I will feel an improvement.

Bronchiectasis with colonised psudamonas.
Been tried on Colomicin twice, but causing breathing problems, also given tobramycin and
gentamicin
, same problem. Consultant says he can't give me anything else, just have me in hospital when I have exacerbation.

Jiggly Eyes and Balance
Hi, my consultant believes that probably as a result of
gentamicin
my inner ear has been damaged. This means I have balance problems and my eyes "jiggle" i.e. when my head moves my eyes seem to bounce.

Saline Inhalation
Hi, I have been asked to consider hypertonic saline in-between my twice daily salbutamol and
gentamicin
nebuliser. I am sure it would help with thick sputum clearance but i have had swollen ankles for about 15 years for which i take bendroflumethiazide but this does not make the swelling disappear.
