Jiggly Eyes and Balance

Hi, my consultant believes that probably as a result of gentamicin my inner ear has been damaged. This means I have balance problems and my eyes "jiggle" i.e. when my head moves my eyes seem to bounce. I was wondering if anyone else has had (got) these problems and how they are trying to overcome them.
