Treatment Resistant Depressant
I have had depression since my 20’s and likely in teens. I’m now 56 and my meds are no longer working like they once did. I’m going to be meeting with a clinic about other options ie: ECT etc. I’m very scared and anxious as this feels next level to me in my illness. Have you tried ECT and/or Esketamine

The paradigm has shifted - castrate resistance.
It now appears that I’ve entered the land of castrate resistance and further ADT vacations are no longer in the plan. My T level recovered much more quickly during the last vacation than during previous vacations, and my PSA rose correspondingly. At 4 months my T level was 325 and my PSA was 4. Another

Doxycycline, small clinical trial
A few months ago, Seasid posted a study on doxycyline, however it was all lab studies. This study is a small "open-window" trial on breast cancer patients indicating eradication of cancer stem cells by doxycycline, an antibiotic. 10.3389/fonc.2018.00452 Prostate and breast cancer have similarities

Testosterone Recovery for 50% of Men
Here's an updated plot of Testosterone recovery time for 50% of men after stopping Lupron ADT, as a function of ADT duration. For ADT durations less than 20 months, the curve is basically linear with a slope = 1.0 (green line), meaning that the Recovery Time for 50% of men is roughly equal to the ADT

Testosterone Recovery After ADT - Updated Plot
Thanks to Tall_Allen for providing lots of extra data for this plot: https://www.prostatecancer.news/2023/04/intermittent-adt.html You can easily extrapolate the curves to find out your recovery time. Help! on Pro-stap, tibolone HRT brought back endo pain!? Made me so unwell - anyone relate??
pro-stap monthly injections started November without HRT. Reduced lot of the endo pain (although made my stomach issues/sensitivity to food way worse). Decided to start tibolone HRT 10 weeks into the injections and it caused awful period/endo pain, spotting, flu type symptoms on and off. Only lasted

Red Light Therapy Pad
Dear Friends, I have ordered a red light therapy pad which I am using since yesterday, on the back of my head in the morning and top of my head in the evening for 10 mins 660nm and 10 mins 850nm, both pulsing at 10 Hz. I feel groggy after using it with a worsening of symptoms. Is this normal?

Cortisol - Dr Berg you tube video on a 26 step natural treatment plan
I really got interested in cortisol when I met 6 months back a super fit young chap who was a national standard rower who was part of the Olympic team and had to give everything up due to a nasty auto-immune disease that he has subsequently cured. As part of that he has to limit any intense exercise

Testosterone recovery after stopping ADT - 3
This plot shows the % of men who recovered their original testosterone level after stopping Lupron ADT, plotted versus the time (months) after stopping ADT, for three different durations of ADT (4, 6-12, or 24 months). The curves show that a short course of ADT allows men to recover their testosterone

Testosterone Recovery after stopping ADT -1
Here's the first of four plots showing testosterone recovery after stopping Lupron ADT. The testosterone recovers quickest in the first 12 months, but then flattens out after that.

Thoughts on Denosumab in my case
MO is suggesting Denosumab after my Dexa scan. Bone density normal in spine, osteopenia in right hip and osteoporosis on one part of left hip. I am wondering if with a -2.7 it is possible to control/improve with supplements and weight bearing exercises? What are you taking? Have added calcium. The

Hi all, This is my first post since being diagnosed with g9 metastatic PC. PSMA PET showed several pelvic lymph nodes with Mets, but no other spread, and bones are clean. I’m trying to finalize my choice of radiation treatments. I’m currently on Lupron and Zytiga, and PSA is dropping like a rock
