Swanbio gene therapy study
Anyone know how this study is going? I did a google search and there was something posted a few days ago but you had to buy the report. $500. I’m very interested but information seems hard to come by. It doesn’t sound like it would repair damage but stop or slow the disease. I wonder if it would eliminate

Advice
I have mentioned to my doctor about things such as inner hair cell regeneration,
gene
therapy
. Been told it’s not finalised will take 10 years. I was upset. I have seen many things online about people on trials and successful treatments for hearing loss. So when I mentioned I got turned away.

CRISPR 13 (what? you thought I abandoned CRISPR?): very promising proof of concept - Targeting HOXB13 in mPCa by CRISPR/Cas13d- nanoparticle
And people thought it was undruggable....they have already filed for a patent 😲 Researchers developed nanoparticles that can deliver a special type of
gene
therapy
directly to cancer cells in the liver.

AAV-GAD Gene Therapy
Did anyone hear of AAV-GAD
gene
therapy
? I have a chance to get into a phase 1/2 trial, but information is somewhat limited. The original developing company went bankrupt, and a new company bought the rights to the therapy.

Not dying was a good plan, but how to navigate the future is the next challenge
Their focus is on developing revolutionary therapies through
gene
therapy
and precision targeting of genetic drivers of disease. In talking with them I was surprised to learn that they don't really focus on sick people. They are usually searching for the things that keep people well.
