Hi, I've had a bypass surgery over 5 months ago and now whilst i'm walking briskly i tend to struggle with chest and throat pains as well as short of breath, this only happens if i walk briskly. All goes away after i take a breather for a minute or so. When i'm walking at a steady pace i have no issues. Any idea why or what it could be. My GP just increased the dosage of one of my medicine but in all in vain so far. Any advice would be useful please. Thanks

As it happens when you start pushing I would suggest you ask for an exercise ECG. I have never had an ECG but understand it should show if things are going awry as the load increases.
