Just had a double mastectomy
I had a double mastectomy on Tuesday. Came home next day. My amazing husband has make sure that I stay ahead of the pain. I was send home with a pain blocker and I will keep it until tomorrow. I am curious about what to expect. Has anyone else experience this? How was the pain after the port was removed

Gastrectomy
I was diagnosed with oc in October but various complications in the testing process means I've only just found out I'm being offered surgery. At first I was told I'd get some of my oesophagus and some of my stomach removed, but nodal involvement in my abdomen and the fact my junction tumour has grown

Apr 25, 2017 09:00 am | Jessica Grono April 8 marked the one-year anniversary of the double mastectomy that erased cancer from my body. I am having a difficult time wrapping my mind around it being a whole year. Because I’m busy, I didn’t do anything spectacular on this anniversary, but it sure made

Not a Warrior
64 yr old single woman. Had double mastectomy. It’s been 2-yrs since I completed chemo. I ‘m angry, sad, disappointed, hate my body, I gained a lot of weight, don't exercise or eat well anymore. Am fatigued all the time, depressed, on anti-depressants. Was in some support groups, but found unhelpful

Nearly a year post chemo
Has anyone suffered itching following chemo?! I have been doing really well and then about 6 weeks or so ago my scalp and the back of my neck started to itch. The hospital thinks it may be to do with my hair growing back. Whatever is causing it, nothing seems to be helping much. It really does drive

Cellulitis, Day 6, any advice?
Hi, I'm new and found this by pure chance. I have cellulitis in my lower leg, which started off last Sunday, I guessed it was this as I've had it four times before in my arm. Went to GP on Monday first thing and got Flucloxacillin 1 four times a day, normally my arm would go down within 3-4 days but
