Think the cancer could be back..
Just wondered if anyone out there has had cancer come back in their second breast? I am 4 years since mastectomy, chemo and 2 years since recon and now I have a lump in my 'good' breast. Had biopsies Friday and results on Tuesday - I should be calm having been through it but I'm terrified! xx

Stage IV stomach cancer at junction with oesophagus - now offered surgery
The whole MDT agreed with this and I am booked in to have a complete
gastrectomy
and the removal of the bottom part of my oesophagus in mid October 2017. I have been told that my situation is unusual and the surgeon has said that he cannot offer me a cure with the surgery.

Bisphosphonates for breast cancer.
I am currently in the last week of Radiotherapy as the final stage of treatment for TNBC following Chemo and mastectomy surgery (including lymph node clearance). I had a review yesterday with my Oncologist about moving on following Radiotherapy. As I am triple negative there are not many preventative

Petscan shows improvement but Ca 27-29 keeps on rising
My daughter was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer at the age of 26. She had a mastectomy, chemo therapy and radiation. Two years later, the cancer metastasized to her bones. Her oncologist started her ibrance, Fasodex and Xgeva which seemed to be the treatment recommended by several second opinion

After gastrectomy
I have suffered from acid reflux and indigestion for some time which affects my appetite. I am expecting to have a full stomach removal. I've been reading on here that's some people suffer terribly from reflux following surgery. I can't bear the thought of going through stomach removal and still suffering

Decision: Should I Do Radiation?
I had my first visit with the radiation oncologist yesterday and he’s leaving it up to me to decide if I want to undergo radiation. He said that there’s no data to show that I would receive anything but a slight benefit, and the risks would be small, so it’s a toss-up (but of course he would recommend

Mastectomy and latissimus dorsi flap reconstruction
Hi everyone, hope you are having a good day today, considering everything! On 18th September, I had a single left-side mastectomy and latissimus dorsal flap reconstruction, with a small implant inserted too. I am recovering well, and feel amazingly normal already, despite a pulling in my left arm,
