miracle treatmen for IBSd
after Suffering with IBS for 20 years I have at last found a treatment that works. I waited 9 months to see a consultant gastroenterologist. This happened last week and he started me on Colestyramine 4 g and after first dose I noticed such a difference ! Having ruled out other causes for my IBSd

I'd been constipated for over a week so started taking fybogel once a day, which worked a week later. Now Ive got cramps and diarrhea and don't know what to do? I take antispasmodic tablets and paracetamol but nothing is working, any ideas?

Abdomen pain - IBS
I have suffered with IBS since for 35 years and the pain was always on the left hand side and lower bowel. Had alternating constipation and diarrhoea but managed with occasional use of fybogel. For the last couple of years however have had terrible upper abdomen pain and bloating too. Have had gastroscopy

Colon hydrotherapy
I have suffered with IBS since 26 years. Iāve tried different diets and different medications but nothing has helped long term. I recently had a flare that caused severe pain around my lower bowl and right hand side, I was sent away from my GP with advice to take fybogel.. To manage my chronic constipation

I am an older gay man and I have a diagnosis of IBS. Am I alone ?
This is a sensitive issue for me. As a gay man, I am increasingly returning to the closet, reluctantly. This is because of years of IBS which has worsened in recent years. I do now have a diagnosis of IBSd, and my GP prescribes Loperamide for me, and Mebeverine. It is a potentially very embarrassing

Discomfort after pooing
hello Iāve had IBS for as long as I can remember. Definitely linked to anxiety. I have severe outbreaks and have taken antidepressants for years and will always do so. Iāve been meditating daily for a few years and wish I had started years ago. Iāve also done a course of online hypnotherapy specifically

Tests
How do you all get these tests done. I've had IBS for over 10 years and no test has ever been offered to me . I suffer every other day . And even going to my GP all she said is take probiotics, mebeverine and cut down on fibre , as I have IBS (D) and sometimes mixed . Every morning is a battle going

Pain/flare up
Although I have probably had IBS symptoms for years and years it has escalated for the past 3 months into something more permanent and painful. Is it usual to have constant pain, or maybe its cramps or spasms, a lot of the time or during a flare up? Although I am on low dose amitriptyline, mebeverine

IBS C / Fibre problems
Hi, I have suffered from and struggled with IBS predominately C for many years, but since Christmas everything has got significantly worse, a lot of pain, inability to get my bowels moving naturally and then incomplete, which leaves me with trapped wind, pressure and hemorroids. Any bulking laxative

constant pain
As I have mentioned before I have probably had IBS on and off all my life when I think back. Last November it moved up a gear, and I have 3 possible reasons. One is I have Sjogrens disease whereby my immune system attacks me so it could be now attacking my gut. The second was I had had a vomiting
