Hi we had 1 embryo to freeze and paid for 2 years storage and now that 2 years is due to end! I’ve gained a lot of weight in the 2 years since having our baby girl and now classed as obese. I just wondered if anyone else who’s obese had success with a FET? Hubby worries it won’t be successful due to my weight and thinks we should pay to extend storage and give me chance to lose weight before going for FET. I would like to know the outcomes good and bad from people who were obese and had a FET? Thank you

I guess it depends how much overweight you are. Clinics generally use the bmi system so it would depend on your bmi as to whether they would allow you to start treatment again anyway.
I haven’t had a FET but I am the heaviest I’ve been out of all 4 rounds and have had the best results with this round. People who are overweight do manage to conceive and carry.
