BFN 8 days post 5 day embryo transfer
So I gave in and did a test it was BFN. I know I'm 2 days early but I knew it hadn't been successful as I've had bad AF pain and I'm AF is due tomorrow. It's caused so much trouble between my husband and I as I had told him and he has just gone of his head saying I had lied to h as I assured him I wouldn't

Fragmin
The clinic said I can us fragmin for the next transfer if I want. My blood ttest for clotting etc all came back fine. Clinic said its unnecessary. Shall I use it or not bother? Please let me know what you think as husband typically said it's all up to me. I take all the decisions alone.

IVF Round 2!!
So we started stims for round 2 today. I take 300 IU of meriofert, Fragmin and fyremadel in a few days! Did anyone have any luck on a 2nd round by using Fragmin? I didn’t use this last time. Thankyou!! Xx

Pain in arm after cannula
Two weeks ago I had a colonoscopy & a nurse placed a cannula in my elbow crease for the sedative. I don’t know why she didn’t put it in my hand like everyone else in the room I was in. It was placed ‘very clumsily’ and very soon blood was pouring out of it down my arm. The nurse then shrieked, ran

Sensitive Post - 9dp5dt
So I tested early when I vowed I wouldn’t!! In my defence, Prof Tim from the BFN podcast said it was ok to test a couple of days prior to 11dp5dt!! Anyway, it’s a BFP!!!!!! I’m still shaking!!! Praying so hard I can hold on to this one (or 2!)🙏 ❤️ We’ve always previously miscarried between 7&8 weeks

PUPO - The 2WW!
After our first round of IVF failed in June/July we decided to try again straight away. This time I was on the shorter protocol and my stims were changed from Gonal F to menopur. This time we got 5 mature eggs, 4 fertilised and 3 made it to day 5 (4AA, 2AA, 2AA). (The last round was only 2 mature eggs

Oct. gallbladder surgery!
Oct. gallbladder surgery! I will come off my Coumadin, and use Fragmin (injectible) to bridge prior to surgery. I’m glad my General surgeon wants to err on the side of caution and keep me in hospital overnight to insure my Coumadin has my INR at a therapeutic level. Likewise, I am glad we’re doing

Soon to be mum with Lupus and Sjrogens
Hi all, I am just looking for a bit of advice regarding my birth plan. Sorry if TMI but I don’t know what to do. My consultant has said that he will give me a C-Section if I want one but that my Lupus could get worse after and the recovery time is so much longer than normal. But then a natural birth

Hosp pt3
Good morning Well, still in hosp but the end is in sight, hoping to be home on Friday. The pneumonia I had has just about cleared up after what seems a bucket load of antibiotics, it’s been a hard road to travel. All this has really messed up my INR it’s bouncing about like a ball at a party. It

Heparin Dosage
I was diagnosed with the big 3 by Prof Hughes 2 years ago and had a problem with taking Plaquanil and can not take high dose Steriods - so I have been very unwell, but now I have been in the most severe relapse for 5 months to a point of being bed bound so I have an appointment at the London Lupus Centre

Fragmin
Has anyone had trouble getting Fragmin? I’m having a minor surgical procedure on Tuesday so will be bridging with Fragmin The protocol where I live says you can’t keep Fragmin at home you have to have a new script filled every time you need it. Personally I think that is very stupid, GP’s don’t

Lupus Anticoagulant positive update 3
Well meeting with haematology and neurology was postponed on 21st, it's now on the 7th. As you can imagine wasn't happy. Slowly collating all the paperwork regarding my wife. Had an email back from Professor Graham Hughes, who correctly guessed my wife's INR results and suggested that she needs a higher

Egg collection done ✔
Egg collection done this morning, 21 eggs collected. Just to see how many are mature and fertilise. All eggs to be frozen as I have too much going on. Which is frustrating yet understandable. Still got 15 days of fragmin to take yet. Just wait and see now

Scary Update on a thread of mine
I thought I would update you all on my original thread, though not the update I would have liked to give. https://healthunlocked.com/hughes-syndrome/posts/138685399/advice-on-blood-test-result-please I had a long chat with my GP and he agreed to refer me to Hematology for advice, especially as I was
