So I tested early when I vowed I wouldn’t!! In my defence, Prof Tim from the BFN podcast said it was ok to test a couple of days prior to 11dp5dt!!

Anyway, it’s a BFP!!!!!! I’m still shaking!!! Praying so hard I can hold on to this one (or 2!)🙏 ❤️

We’ve always previously miscarried between 7&8 weeks 💔 (Natural not IVF pregnancies).

What’s the next steps? Do I tell the clinic tomorrow? Will they do bloods, scans??

Also, I’m taking progesterone injections & pessaries, and Fragmin injections. I run out of these in 5 days. I really want to keep taking these until at least 12 weeks. Would this be normal?

Sorry for rambling ladies but still can’t quite believe it!!! I know there’s a v long way to go but for tonight I’m going to smile and be happy ❤️

Congratulations!!! Keep taking your meds and call the clinic but they will probably say call again on OTD. I am sure that they will provide you with more meds. Well done xxxxx

Congratulations! What a lovely dark positive too. Your clinic will almost certainly scan you at around 7 weeks and I would imagine they'll want you to stay on meds too x

It's such an anxious time, especially after a loss. I have been very nervous and worried all the way through as I've also miscarried before. All I can say is to try to enjoy it as it goes so fast x

Congratulations! Just wanted to say my Progesterone ran out only a few days after OTD and they didn’t give me more said the pregnancy hormones should take over which they have. Mine was a fresh cycle I know fresh and frozen are different. But just wanted to say my experience in case that’s also how your clinic works! x

LittleMermaid1 profile image
LittleMermaid1 in reply toFingerscrossed34

Thanks for this ❤️ I’m just v worried given my miscarriage history. I’m sure I’ve read you can’t have too much progesterone so my thinking is I’d rather take it to be on the safe side! Mines was also a fresh cycle.

Hope your pregnancy is going well ❤️ xx

Congratulations lovely. Looks like a nice string line so praying for the best for you. May I just do if there is any particular reason u used fragmin? Did u have any tests which led to this been recommended?

Thank you ❤️

I had all the recurrent miscarriage tests but they didn’t show up anything. However I did a lot of reading up on Fragmin and asked my clinic for it and they were happy to prescribe xx

Congratulations!!!! Amazing news well done !!! Yes contact clinic your OTD day!! And they will advise you from there/if you run out of meds before (surely they give you enough for OTD) call them. They will set up another prescription for you, and arrange a viability scan for 4-5 weeks away. Congratulations lovely xxxx

LittleMermaid1 profile image
LittleMermaid1 in reply tocrisps88

Thank you ❤️ I’ve called them and I’ve to call back tomorrow to speak to the consultant. I was hoping maybe my own local GP could prescribe them but I’m not sure with these being private prescriptions.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. Amazing news. You must be over the moon ❤️ xx

You should be ok as they are familiar with fertility treatment. I went to a locum gp out of hours and asked it and just took my packet and it was absolutely fine. Eeek thank you Hun! Xxxx

Congratulations. I did the same, took a test early...same test by looks of it as well and dark positive. I still had bloods and showed the nurse the test and she congratulated me. I had a 6 weeks scan but can’t remember how long I took the pessaries for. Good luck, fingers cross for you. Xx

Congratulations!! My clinic told me to stay on meds until 12 weeks. On my last FET I had a blood test at 10dp5dt ant it was a BFP. Another blood test a week later (5 weeks pregnant) and then I was booked an early scan at 6 weeks due to my previous losses.

Good luck! Hope everything goes well! x

Congratulations! What a lovely dark positive 😍 I would wait until OTD to phone the clinic and then they would usually tell you to go in and collect more meds and book you in for a scan around 7 weeks. Good luck, really hope this is your sticky little miracle 🙏🏻🤞 xx

Thank you ❤️ Problem is my clinic don’t stock Lubion and any pharmacy I’ve contacted don’t usually stock it and can take up to 5 days to order in 🤦🏻‍♀️

Wishing you the very best of luck too ❤️xx

Woop woop! Congratulations lovely!

I’d give them a ring - I think whether they do bloods varies from clinic to clinic.

When I was taking progesterone injections and pessaries I was told I’d continue the pessaries after a bfp to 12 weeks, but that their policy is to stop the jabs after otd. Again I think it will probably vary. Congrats again xx

LittleMermaid1 profile image
LittleMermaid1 in reply toSolly-44

Thank you. That’s very interesting. I’m hoping they let me continue for 12 weeks if I hopefully get that far 🙏. I’m probably being paranoid but think it’s better to be safe than sorry! Who knows!! Xx
