The clinic said I can us fragmin for the next transfer if I want. My blood ttest for clotting etc all came back fine. Clinic said its unnecessary. Shall I use it or not bother? Please let me know what you think as husband typically said it's all up to me. I take all the decisions alone.

I wouldn’t take something if I had a blood test telling me I didn’t need it but that’s just me.

I was put on fragmin but my previous clinic, my new clinic did the blood panel and said I didn’t need it so not to take it.

Also they are horrible injections! They sting and bruise so I was pretty happy to take it off my protocol.

If you try numbing the area with an ice pack 10 minutes before you object it should not sting or hurt...

I was screened for blood clot issues and a very mild one was found however I was already on blood thinners as it helps with blood flow to the uterus which can help with lining issues and implantation. I guess its up to you at the end of the day but the injections are easy, they dont sting too much like progesterone and this is all about having no regrets.xx

One of my friends with Hughes syndrome that's just had a baby went on injections whilst she was pregnant and has gone back to tablets now she has had the baby.

Definitely use it. There are so many different blood clotting disorders is likely you have one and just haven't been tested for it. Clexane (Fragmin) has been the key for so many women, myself included!

I didn't know fragmin was the same as Clexane. Read lots about clexane. Will use it.

They're both blood thinners. Think clexane is enoxaprin and fragmin is daltaparin. Be interesting to know why your Dr wound choose Fragmin over clexane...

The only reason fragmin was agreed upon is because I have it left over from my NHS round. I cant really afford more medication but I will find out how much clexane costs in Greece.

Oh ok cool, I think clexane is slightly cheaper here which is surprising that NHS went with a dearer one. Check with your Dr but I definitely think it's important. Xx

Also getting an ERA done. I had a chemical with my first pgs normal embryo FET. The Dr said the embryo tries to jump on the train but the platform (timing of progesterone) is not quite long enough and they fall off. Good analogy to help understand how important precise timing is for FET

Yeah ERA tests have been discussed at length but my clinic thinks they are a waste of time for me because I've had a cp in the past. I start taking progesterone 5 days before transfer to make sure I have enough. I'm also using intramuscluar injections to top on progestrone . Where ERA test the game changer for u

Yes! ERA is so important if you've had a chemical of a failure. Like I said the progressing might not be long enough for the embryo to hold on that's when a chemical occurs. These embryos are too precious to be experimenting and guessing the transfer window. I would demand an era. Have a Hysteroscopy to make sure everything is clear in your uterus. Definitely have your progesterone levels checked a few days prior to fet and again on transfer day and then again a few days to a week after transfer. It needs to remain over 100 (some say 60 but my clinic is cautious). Up to you missy but there is a lot you can do before you do another FET.

Just to jump in here, Ive just had an ERA and we had a loss and a CP. However we had moved transer to day 6 after many negatives. However what we didnt have was timings. My clinic recommended this it it turns out we were transferring just on the borderline of my implantation window. My day 5 transfers all failed and my pregnancy that went the furthest was transferred borderline too early and I got a late positive however we think I lost this down to low progesterone as I had a spontaneous loss. On my next CP, we transferred just borderline end of my implantation window so probably didnt have enough time to bed in....didnt know this at the time of course as we've had the tests since all this. So my implantation is best at 144 hours +/- 3 hrs of starting progesterone which is 6 days. This may all just be coincidence but seems so make sense of our BFNs & BFPs so far but I appreciate it is expensive.xx

I would say to use it myself.

Don't know anything about fragmin. A lot of this tends to come down to a lot of personal research and choice. A lot of pressure!

Yes its s lot of pressure to do all the research and make a decision. Especially when you're doing it alone.
